(Adira's P.O.V.)
I immediatly ran out of my home, not even bothering to close my door. My face was still bloody and bruised from the fight with Jack. But nothing stopped me. I whistled and immediatly King galloped towards me from the field that is next to my house. With no tack, I jumped on his back using his mane. "Go King! Go!" I said and spurred him on. As the cobblestones turned into a dirtroad The Black King kept up his powerfull gallop.

Instead of following the firetruck I steered King onto another route

Instead of following the firetruck I steered King onto another route. A shortcut to the Commyr. It would take the firetruck 10 more minutes to get there. As we got closer and closer. I saw the smoke rise up from behind the trees and the smell of burned wood sprung into my nose. We rounded the last group of trees and the Commyr came into my sight. It was fully submerged in flames. I stopped King. Suddenly I heard a bang and something hit my shoulder making me fall from King as he reared. I fell onto the grass and immediatly grabbed my shoulder and knew it was by a bullet. I groaned in pain as my body stopped producing adrenaline. I heard some footsteps and I turned myself so I could see who it was. A male, holding a gun. He laughed when he stood over me. The gun was raised to my face and it got loaded. He was underestimating me with the full potential his mind could hold. He began taunting me with remarks and by waving the gun in his face. While his attention was else where, I quickly sweeped him from his feet and tackled him to the ground. Before snatching the fallen gun from the ground and put it against his head. "Who do you work for?!" I yelled at him with full anger. He stayed silent. I chuckled and smacked him across the head with his own gun. "Answer the fucking question" I snarled. Something shimmered in the corner of my eye. Then I spotted something. It was the man's newsboy cap. I clenched my jaw as I saw the shimmer of razorblades. The Peaky Blinders. Anger coursed through my veins and I immediatly shot the man through the head. I quickly got off of the man. "Mia! Tilly! Ben!" I called out some of the names as I ran towards the front door. I heard the screaming from some of my people. It was unbearable to hear. Before I could reach the door a bunch of flames flared up making me fall back down. I covered my face so I wouldn't get burned. After thr flames died down slightly I stood back up again. I pushed against the door with my full body weight. The heat burned my skin but I fully ignored it as I tried to get to my people, my family. Finally it was busted open. I fell inside, the warmth of the fire was unimaginable hot. Once again I called out for some of my people. I heard some call out. Immediatly I rised to my feet and ran to the nearby people. The group was enclosed by wooden beams that had fallen down. The beams had fallen infront of the door. "Dammit!" I yelled and slammed the wood. But I won't give up. I whistled once again and heard King's hooves from behind me. I grabbed a thick rope that had previously held up some washing. "You gotta help boy. Pull as hard as you can" I said as I put the rope infront of his chest and tied it around one of the fallen beams. "Everybody stand back" I yelled through the burning wood to my family. Both King and I started to pull with all our strenght. I watched the beam slowly move. I smiled and rewarded King with my voice. The  Black King and I pulled against the rope and the beam fell down, opening the passageway enough so they cpuld crawl out. I saw some of my people, huddled together and scared. I extended my hand for them to grab a hold off, one by one. I held onto one of their hands but suddenly an explosion made me and King fly backwards, away from our family. It was so powerfull that it made us fly all the way outside. My back hit the ground and the air was knocked out of me. I fell on my stomach and looked at the building that was now caved in by the explosion. No way inside but most of all no way out. I groaned as I pushed myself up. But I was to wounded and I blacked out.

"Over here". A faint echo was calling out to me. The light of the flames had died down. The firemen had finally arrived. I was shaked and my eyes fluttered open seeing a fireman in my vision. I immediatly sat upright and gasped for air. The man gave me comforting words but was quickly cut off as I screamed for them to go inside to rescue my family. I ran to the building that had no flames, only charcoaled wood and dripping in water. I was held back and he told me that it was to late. I froze in my spot as I looked at him with fear in my eyes. "Im sorry. They are dead" he said with a soft tone. He grabbed my hand and put something in it before walking away with the rest of his troop. I looked down and gasped and tears started to fall down my face. It was little Matilda's teddy bear. It was all burned up. The previous pink colour had now turned into a dirty brown with burned patches all over his body. I held the bear against my chest and dropped to my knees. My heart ached with pain, my blood burned with sorrow and my mind clouded my thoughts with guilt. I started to sing the beautifull song my dear Ruth once sang. But she sang it with so much beauty, but mine was filled with anger, sadness and my voice wasn't angelic like her's was. Mine was raw.

~~
I dreamed a dream in times gone by
When hope was high and life worth living
I dreamed, that love would never die
I dreamed that God would be forgiving
Then I was young and unafraid
And dreams were made and used and wasted
There was no ransom to be paid
No song unsung, no wine untasted

But the tigers come at night
With their voices soft as thunder
As they tear your hope apart

And still I dream he'll come to me
That we will live the years together
But there are dreams that cannot be
And there are storms we cannot weather

I had a dream my life would be
So different from this hell I'm living
So different now from what it seemed
~~

I looked towards the burned down building. Tears had welled up in my eyes. "Now life has killed the dream". I looked down at the small bear and trailed my fingers over it's head. "My... dream". More tears fell down and I cried out in agony. I felt a hot breath and turned to see my King. He softly whinnied in sadness and pushed his nose against my cheek.

If you have seen Les Misérables. The scene with Anna Hathaway singing "I dreamed a dream" was the inspiration.
