Ellie's POV
I slowly open my eyes. Luke's arms are wrapped around my waist.
"Luke....Luke...Luke wake up" I say.
"OKAY EVERYONE UP NOW!" I shout.
"Wait...uh...what" is the answer I get from everyone. Harriet rolls onto the falls onto the floor.
"Ow" Harriet whines. Ash helps her back up. I mentally awe.
Luke slowly sits up arms still wrapped around me.
" We have....hold on" I say checking the time on my phone. " we have 2 hours to get ready and get there. Now hurry" I say. I quickly get up from Luke's arms and run up to my room. I do a natural makeup look with eyeliner and mascara.
I slide into my dress. I struggle with the zip but get it done. I sort the sleeves out. i straighten my hair and add a bit of hair spray. I place my black tattoo chocker which my dad Brought for me around my neck. I find the locket that my mum brought me and also place that around my neck.
I find my back and white clutch bag and place a nude lipstick, some money, tissues, mascara and my iPhone.
I pick my heels up and walk down stairs. i check the wall clock to see that we have half an hour to get to the church. I slip into my heels.
"Wow" Luke says walking up to me. He's wearing a black suit with a white shirt and a black skinny tie.
"Wow to you too" I say.
Me and Luke walk in to the living room. Harriet is wearing a dark purple version of my dress she has one black van on the her foot and the other has a fluffy sock. Her hair is pulled into a pony tail and her makeup is dark.
"Swag har" I say.
"Swag to you to Ellie" Harriet replies.
I look and see the rest of the boys in suits.
"It's strange seeing you guys like this" I say.
It's the day of my parents burial. I'm keeping my self busy so I don't cry.
"Hi" my aunt says walking through the door.
"Wait mum your coming to?" Ash asks. "well I am related" she says.
"Already to go?" Aunt asks.
"Yeah" I say letting a tear slip from my eye.
Luke comes up and wipes them away with his thumb.
"Shh. it's okay" Luke says hugging me.
We walk out the house and down the gravel path to a black car. The car had about 8-10 seats. Harriet sits in the passenger seat while Everyone else finds a seat.
It takes about 30-40 minutes to get to the church. I step out and straighten my dress. Luke intertwines his fingers in mine.
Ash goes off somewhere to help with the coffins. Everyone else apart from my aunt, ash and me, go inside. I notice my Dads wife. Along with sisters and brothers of my mum and dad.
"Hi Ellie right?" A lady asks.
"Yeah" I say.
"I'm your aunt from your dads side. I'm Delia" Delia says.
"Oh hi" I say a little shocked.
"I'm sorry for your losses" Delia says.
"I'm sorry for your loss too" I reply
"I better get in the church" Delia says.
"Okay see you soon" I reply. Delia gives me a hug then walks into the church.
"Ellie. Come in side" Luke says holding out his hand.
"Okay" I say taking hold of his hand.
We walk to front pew. Were my Aunt Anne is sitting there are three spaces left. One for me, one for Luke and one for Ash. I sit next to Anne and Luke sits beside me.
The death march music starts. Everyone stands up. The first coffin to come in is my Dad's. Tears start to roll down my face. I get a tissue out of my bag and wipe my tears away. The second coffin to come in is of course my Mum's. I wipe more tears away. Ash carries my Mum's coffin in the middle along with five other relatives of mine. Luke takes my hand in his again.
The coffins are placed at the front of the church. Ash comes and stands next to Luke.
"Please sit" The vicar tells us.
"Today we are here to remember......" The vicar starts I zone out.
~~~~30 minutes later~~~~
I place a single white rose on my Mum's coffin before its lowered into the ground. I then place a single white rose on my Dad's coffin. The coffins are then lowered into the ground and covered over. Luke embraces me in a hug.
~~~an hour later~~~
I didn't want there to be an after burial party but of course someone in my family threw one but me and Luke got a taxi back home.
I'm currently sat on the sofa. I've changed in grey joggers and a white vest thing. Luke is currently getting changed while I look what's on TV. I put keeping up with the Kardashians on. 5 minutes later Luke walks in. He wearing black joggers and a plain black T-shirt.
Luke sits on the sofa and drapes his arm over my shoulders. I snuggle up to him.
"You okay?" He asks
"Sort of" I reply.
Luke plants a kiss on my cheek. I start to fall asleep half way through the second keeping up with the Kardashians.
"Sleep Ellie your tired" Luke says.
"No I'm not" I mumble sleepily. I end falling asleep.
