Its nice to actually see another side of Jorden other than his egoistic self.
After the picnic, we went for a fair south of town. It was so amazing.
Even if Jorden said it wasn't a date, I have labelled it one, it felt like one.
"Which favour did you exactly want because I don't think I did any."
"Fruit picking?"
"That's the favour, I should owe you more often."
"Don't get used to it." he replies with an eyeroll and I laugh.
"What of the picnic and the fair." I go on to ask. I just feel like there is more to it . People don't just do such things and by people I mean Jorden.
"Take it as an apology for the detention I got you."
"Awww, I like this side of Jorden better."
"Again, don't get used to it."
We arrive at Kayla's place. I can't help but be sad that my time with him is done. This has been one of my best days thanks to Jorden. I didn't ever think I would say this.
"Thank you for the day," I tell him grinning from ear to ear. I think I got so caught up in my happy bubble that what I did next shocked both of us. I gave Jorden a lingering kiss on the cheeks before exiting his car without waiting for his reply or reaction.

"How was your date?"
"Where did you go?"
"Was Jorden romantic?"
"Did you guys kiss?"
"I want all the juicy details."
All these questions were asked by my best friend in a second.
"Kay, breath. Ask one question at a time." Sasha says. " And, did you just use romantic and Jorden in one sentence?" she adds and we laugh.
"First of all, it wasn't a date. He needed a favour, I kind of owed him." I went on to explain from the favour to how he asked to all that happened today.
"That sounds like a date to me. I mean look at those photos." Kayla exclaims.
"Right! What was the favour in all that?" Sasha asks
"Fruit picking. At least that is what he told me." " The picnic and fair were an apology for my detention."
" Awww, that's so sweet. Im so shocked though."
"That makes two of us."
"So did you guys kiss?" this time it was Sasha who asked.
"Nah, though I might or might not have kissed him on the cheeks."
"Enough about me, what did you guys want anyway?"
"Girl time and Kayla has a date this Wednesday with BRYCEEE." Sasha says excitedly.
"I knew you guys were into each other but I didn't think you would get together so soon."
"Well alot has happened since the party. We have hang out alot the past weeks and....."
"And he confessed his undying love to her, apparently he has liked her since Junior year."
"Now that I think about it, I've noticed him staring at you a couple of times, even before Dave's party. Why didn't he tell you sooner though?"
"He feared rejection and in Junior year boys were all over Kayla, even the seniors. I'm quoting his words."
"Where was I when all this information was being revealed."
"In your cave" they reply in unison.
"Oh"

I tap my leg impatiently on the floor while lightly hitting my pen on my desk. Im bored out of my mind, my anatomy lesson is taking forever and the fact that my teacher is very boring isn't helping my situation.
Today is one of those days that drag on painfully slowly.
The bell finally rings and I literally run out of class. I drop my books in my locker and head over to the cafteria.
I spot Jorden leaning against the lockers, eyes glued to his phone. So much for trying to avoid him. You guessed right, I have been trying to avoid him since our moment yesterday.
"Are we just going to ignore your action yesterday." he says stepping in front of me
"It was nothing really, I was just caught up in the heat of the moment," I reply with a shrug. I thought he would be upset with my reply but he just gave me one of his cheeky grins. He took a step towards me, then another our faces were only inches apart. He gaze roamed my face and then his eyes stopped at my lips. He lowered his head, our lips nearly touching. My brain was screaming at me to just connect our lips but the sensible part of me decided against it. His lips grazed mine slightly. I closed my eyes anticipating his kiss but it didn't come. Instead he gave me a kiss on the forehead and smirked. "Two can play this game Pink." He smiled and walked away. Just imagine the disappointment and sadness I was feeling. So it's now a game. Well, two can play this game.
Jorden- 1

Just then an idea pops in my mind. This is going to be fun. I smile so big and continue my journey to the cafteria.
