Chapter 14 ~ The conversations

~ 1 day later ~

~ Jimin's POV ~

"When do you think he'll wake up?" Yoongi asks the doctor, anxious about the answer he'll receive.

Besides Jungkook, Yoongi is the one taking this the hardest. Obviously we all are, but Yoongi is surprisingly the closest and most worried about Tae.

I think it's because Taehyung let him know about his past abuse and he is also the youngest in our group, so yoongi feels it's his responsibility to protect him. Plus he's such an angel which makes it hard to believe someone put him through such hell.

I don't understand how someone could do that to Taehyung. He is so sweet and caring and he always puts people before himself. I just don't get it, he is an amazing person and he doesn't deserve this at all, no one deserves that.

"We don't know for sure it could be minutes, days, weeks, or even years. It depends on him and his body, but from what I've seen, he is a strong boy." The doctor says sincerely.

"What do you mean?" I ask with a raised eyebrow.

"Oh well, unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've seen Mr. Kim, he's been here before a few years ago. He said he just got here and fell down some stairs, but I suspected abuse. He was only sixteen or so at the time and I told him we could protect him, we could report whoever is doing this to him for child abuse. But he said no and said that he is away from the danger now. So I just let him be." The doctor answers cautiously.

"Why didn't you report it? You could've done something! He was still a kid, it was your responsibility to report it!" Yoongi said raising his voice.

"Hey Yoongz calm down." Hobi says.

"No! Don't tell me to calm down, when this wouldn't have happened if he did his job!" Yoongi says storming out of the hospital.

"I'm sorry about him. He is just very close and protective over Taehyung." Hoseok bows and apologizes.

"It's okay I understand. I feel bad for not reporting it, but Mr. Kim was really damaged and I didn't want to break his trust or cause more problems for him by reporting it. Especially when he didn't want me to and when he didn't feel comfortable."

"I understand, thank you for taking care of Taehyung and respecting his choice." Jimin thanks him sincerely.

"Of course, now if you will excuse me, I have to check on my other patients. You might want to go check on your friend." The doctor bows and walks away.

"So so who wants to go check on Yoongi?" Jimin asks.

"NOT IT!" Hobi yells.

"NOT IT!" Jin yells.

I sigh, "Cowards fine."

Jimin walks out of the hospital and tries to find Yoongi. Then he sees him with his back against a tree, breathing heavily. He's either upset or angry I can't tell.

I slowly walk towards him and pull him into a hug, I know he doesn't like physical affection that much, but it looks like he needs it.

"Hey, are you okay?" Jimin asks softly.

"Yeah, sorry for causing a scene." Yoongi says slightly backing away from the hug.

"No, you didn't cause a scene. It's okay I get it." Jimin says reassuringly.

"Thanks, should we call and tell Jungkook what the doctor said?"

"Probably if we don't he'll most likely be really mad." I answer.

"Okay, I guess I'll do it?" Yoongi says even though it looks like he doesn't want to do it.

"Yeah goodluck." I say a bit nervous.

~ Yoongi's POV ~

Even though I don't really want to call Jungkook, I will cause I don't want Jimin to, but also because I think he should hear it from me.

I call Jungkook and he picks up almost right away.

"Hello? Yoongi Hyung is Tae okay?"

"Yeah, it's just we found out something from the doctor that we thought you should know." I say a bit hesitantly.

"Why? What happened!" Jungkook asks, his voice firm.

"Um, this isn't the first time he's been here," I nervously say, so low I don't think he can hear me.

"Speak up and just tell me!" Jungkook exclaims, frustrated.

"Fine! This isn't the first time he's been to this hospital!" I blurt out.

"What? How? When?" He says lowly.

"Taehyung told me the abuse started when he was eleven and the doctor said he remembers him when he came in at sixteen. Tae apparently told the doctor that he fell down some stairs, but the doctor suspected abuse. Except nothing happened since he didn't report it, because Jimin said the doctor told him, that he didn't want Taehyung to not trust him or make things worse." I answered hurriedly.

"Oh god Tae baby. Did he say when he'll wake up?"

"He said it depends on Taehyung, it could be a short amount of time or a long time."

"Okay um thanks Hyung, for letting me know." with that Jungkook ends the call.

I feel bad he sounds like he was about to cry again. I've never seen Jungkook cry before this and now it's like I see him cry every day since this whole thing happened.

~ 2 hours later ~

~ Jungkook's POV ~

I walk into the hospital to see Tae alone.

"Hey, baby how are you doing? No answer again huh. Can you please answer me, so I know you're okay? Huh, no answer again. Well, I love you. Wow, you're not gonna say it back I know I messed up but you don't have to Ignore me. Please..." Jungkook says tears falling, as he holds onto Taehyungs hand. He looks at his face, he looks so peaceful as if he's just sleeping.

The oxygen mask is off his face which means he's doing better than before.

Right?

"Okay, I guess I have to go Tae. I'll see you tomorrow I promise, but you better talk to me okay? Nothing still? Fine. I love you bye." Jungkook says as he places a soft kiss on Taehyung's forehead and walks out of the hospital tears still falling.

Wondering why is this happening?

Wondering if he will ever hear Taehyung's beautiful voice again.

Wondering what the future holds for them.

(Ok I hope you liked the update btw if you were confused at the last part Jungkook knows that Tae is still in a coma but he is just so heartbroken so he just thinks as if Taehyung is mad at him for the breakup and the fight so he is ignoring him. Question of the day: When is your birthday?)
