Another Kind of Demon (Sebastian x Reader)

Chapter 7

"It's good to see you looking normal, (f/n)." Ciel greets you as you approach the steps.

You bow your head, "Thank you young master. I am feeling quite better."

"Do you wish to know the rest?"

Remembering the night before and the questions Sebastian was asking you. "I didn't really learn anything last night so I might as well continue with this."

"Let's go to a more private room than the dining room this time." Sebastian says, "Young master?"

"I suppose it's okay. Let's go." Ciel agrees.

You follow them to a room that you are not familiar with. I guess they should have given me a tour before letting me work here... you think to yourself.

"This is where the young master plays chess with his guests." Sebastian tells you.

You nod your head in response. What else am I supposed to tell him? you ask yourself, We've kissed... and stuff. His tongue... Your face heats up again.

"What did you just think of?" Sebastian asks, noticing your blush.

"N-Nothing!" You turn away from him and sit down where Ciel told you to sit.

"If you guys are done flirting, could we just get on with this!" The young Earl exclaims rather annoyed.

"(f/n), I believe that you are a lower demon and human half breed." The butler tells you.

You are taken by surprise at this abruptness. "What! That's impossible! I'm a human!"

Sebastian walks over and kneels down infront of where you are sitting, rests his hands on your knees and looks into your eyes. "It's possible. Listen to me now, (f/n). I wouldn't lie to cause you such pain. Your dad was a lower demon and your mother was a human."

It does make sense. you think, Dad had ears like mine and mom didn't. Is that enough to convince you that you weren't fully human? "But my mom said..."

"Your mother didn't lie to you." Sebastian assures you, "You are human, only half, but human."

Ciel clears his throat, "I don't mean to interrupt, but I think that we need to continue."

After making sure that you are okay, the raven haired butler stands up and bows to his young master. "Yes, my lord." He straightens up and continues, "Lesser demons don't have as much power as regular demons. They can be killed by mere mortals even though they can live forever. While they do have some power, it is very little unless they bring forth their true forms. As (f/n) graciously demonstrated, their true forms are quite humanlike. This is partially the reason why they are looked down upon by regular demons. The only thing is, if a female lesser demon has a kid with a human male, their child will resemble the father and take on his mortal traits. That child will be able to shield its family and no one will see them as anything other than a human family. Because of the child's natural shield using up most of its power when it is younger, it grows up with a family but is only slightly stronger than a human though they do make a good warrior they are just as easily killed as a human. (f/n) had a lesser demon father and a human mother. She takes on her father's demon traits and looks like him. Don't you, (f/n)?" You nod your head and he continues, "But she is more powerful than her father. She is harder to kill and if she trains hard, she won't have to bring forth her true form to have power. Her kind is not looked down upon like her father's kind was. Since she does not have a natural shield to protect her family when she was younger and her not normal scent was like a becon to enemies back then, her family was found and killed."

When Sebastian finishes, the room is silent.

Ciel breaks the silence by saying, "Well, it seems that I have acquired a rare piece. I will let you leave to sort your thoughts out."

You get up and leave the room still processing the information. "I can't believe it..." You murmur to yourself.

"Hey (f/n)!" You look up to see Finny running towards you.

"F-Finny!" You exclaim as he picks you up by the waist and spins around with you.

When he puts you down, he cups your cheek with his hand, "Why the long face?"

You lean into his hand and put your hand on his, "It's a lot of information to swallow. I'll be fine, though."

Finny's face changes to a terrified expression and he runs away at full speed. Just as you are about to run after him, something grabs your arm.

"Sebastian!?" You are surprised by the dark aura around him.

"I said I would wait. I didn't say that I was going to stand by and watch as another man touches you." He kisses you forcefully. "Do not take comfort from anyone other than me." He lets you go and walks away.

After he is gone you shout, "WHAT IS WRONG WITH THAT GUY????!!!!"
