Iza's POV

The second I walked into school, a cold liquid and a white powder substance is all over my body, making it hard to see what's going on. I notice it's flour and eggs all over my head and clothes. Another cold liquid comes down fast and gives me chills all over. It's strong and clean scent made it obvious it was some kind of cleaning liquid.
"She's actually a mop now!" Someone shouts, and the entire school laughs, I look down trying not to cry, I look up and see Bree holding her hand purse. Laughing with her little minions, one of them was holding a bucket. I look back down but before I could proceed to stand there more. Someone pulls me out of the crowd and pulls me into a room and closes the door. Then, just hugs me. It was a sympathetic hug but the person was warm and comforting when he/she letted me go I almost collapsed. I just sobbed and fell to the floor. I'm such a mess, the person probably thinks I'm a wimp now, I thought. Probably everyone does, then someone was at the door. Did specifically, 1 knock and 5 knocks after, it was an old knock code that I made for my best friends. Meaning our age which means we are all 15 years old or maybe its young because we aren't that old, I wonder what they think of me now.
"Hey, it's gonna be okay? Just be strong, Iza." The voice sounds so familiar snd then I take a quick glance. It's, Alex, "How do you know m-my name?" I stutter since I've been crying, I hate crying in front of people. He shrugged and the knocks begin again a little more louder than last time. Alex, get's up from the ground and unlocks the door. Both of my friends ran in past Alex, with concerned faces and a sighs of relief.
"Oh my gosh, Iz are you okay?" Lili asks, and I sob into her shoulder while shaking my head.
"Why, does t-this ha-ave to happen-n to me?" I hold my best friend tightly and Beth comes in, hugging us both. Alex sat down next to me and puts his arm around my back with a warm touch. Why are these people even here? Don't I smell like hell to them, do they mind the flour and eggs that are getting on their clothes? As these thoughts were going through my mind, Beth said, "We care about you Iz, no matter what happens or when it happens we'll be here okay? Stop crying, those jerkwads don't deserve your tears."
"D-did you s-see what Jake said?" My friends both shook their heads, Alex just watches me intently.
"He said that I smell like skunks and ass who would even go near me. I hate him, gosh I hate everyone in this damn school that was involved in this."
After a few minutes of talking, my crying slowed down to just sniffling.
"Are you okay now?" Alex asks, I wonder why he's even here, he barely knows me.
I nod, "Thanks, for pulling me out of there. I could've gotten more eggs in my hair I guess or worse, get beat up by The stupid plastic heads and their pointy ass barbie heels." I chuckled a little bit and cough from all the flour in my mouth and a moment of silence was in the air.
"This might be the wrong time to ask but um... Who are you?" Beth asks, and Lili look at Alex, "I'm actually new, I just moved in to Iza's neighborhood and I'm Alex obviously." He says and scratches the back of his neck. "Oh, cool." Beth says and leans over to me,
"DUDE HE IS SOOOO CUTE AND BEAUTIFUL IS HE EVEN REAL?" Beth loudly whispers in my ear, I smile.
"He's mine though." I smirk and she squeals and then puts on a serious face.
"Well what do we do now? Skip school?" Lili suggests and I nod. Even though it's been like 20 minutes and it's already a living hell I want to get out. Really, really bad.
"Um, I can't really go, it's my first day and stuff so I don't want to-"
"Oh come on! Who cares! It's school, you can always make it up later!" Beth interrupted him. Nobody's really listening to this guy as much today.
"Guys I don't know we have like 5 mins until the bell rings what should we do?" Lili says in frustration, I ponder.
"On second thought, my parents are going to get pretty mad at me and worried and If they find out I'm not in class. I also don't want to lie to them at all, it'd just be more work. So just let me borrow some of your extra clothes in your gym locker? Please?" I ask Beth she nods and helps me up.
"Well, I guess I'll go bye guys. I'll see ya later Iza." He says and walks out the door. It's gonna kill me one day if he smirks like that again. He hugged me! He hugged me like put both arms around my waist! Yeah, um... Wow. The feeling tickled me on my sides and I slightly giggled. My friends looked at me weirdly and laughed. They just don't understand.
