Over the next few days Cedric and Adrianna had to go to the office and back in separate cars due to how busy they both were.
Cedric had already approved all of the expansion plans for Mor Co. he had even moved Ian to head the expansion team, so Camilla had quite the workload on her hands. One day Cedric had to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for the new factory for Mor Co. He didn't attend alone, as a project that involved all five families, his friends and Nicole Chan went along.
Interestingly Ray Laurence had brought along the Chu father and son duo, Edward and Mark, who in turn brought Katrina Chu and Asia Hernandez. When Cedric had spotted them he raised his eyebrow to question Ray why they had been invited.
"We still back them you know. And they are quite loyal. I think Mark would throw Asia off a cliff if I asked him to." Ray teased, although he had no doubt that Mark would probably do so if he asked.
"That Asia bitch is still going around as if she owns the place." Nicole commented as she arrived together with her older brother Miguel.
"Language little girl." Alexi teased.
"She disgusts me! Especially the way she treated Adrianna. Doesn't she know her dad and brother are about to go away for a very very long time." Nicole was furious.
"Calm down Nicole. At this rate I feel like you'll get my revenge for me." Cedric teased as he patted Nicole on the head.
They were quite far away from other people so they could speak freely, people however could still see them and whispered among themselves about how sweet the Reyes Heir seemed to be treating Nicole Chan.
"There are many people here who would like to see you both succeed and fail Cedric." Alexi warned.
"Let them talk." Cedric said with a laugh. "There are a hundred and one rumors going around about me now. It's odd that you are alone now Alexi."
"First of all I wouldn't bring some random girl to your event Cedric. I was supposed to bring my sisters but Natalia got invited to some nerd conference and Katerina had to fly last minute to America for some prince client of hers who just managed to get himself tangled in tax charges." Alexi said in an attempt to defend himself.
"Hey! Natalia isn't going to some nerd conference! It's the International Conference on Environment and Bio-Engineering. I'm actually going to follow tomorrow. It's being held in Dubai. Speaking of which, Ray, can I use your plane?" Miguel said.
"No. Use your own." Ray flatly rejected.
"But Ayanna always uses one of your planes!" Miguel complained.
"That's different." Ray replied.
"Can I have a seat in first class?" Miguel tried his luck again.
"You need more than one seat Miguel. I'm sure you need one for your assistant, and at least two for your bodyguards. Are you bringing an intern along? You usually do. So you actually need six seats!" Ray complained.
"But you empty out whole planes for Ayanna! You've known me longer!" Miguel continued to nag his friend.
"Fine. Six seats. Nothing more. And don't delay the flight cause someone asked you to perform an operation!" Ray said giving in to his friend's request.
Camilla approached them and led them to the groundbreaking ceremony. During the event Cedric couldn't help but feel that something bad was about to happen, especially since Asia Hernandez and Mark Chu were there. But this was Cedric's territory, if they tried anything it would only backfire on them.
Multiple photos were taken of the five princes holding gold shovels doing the symbolic ground breaking, this was the first project where these five famous personalities were all involved and in collaboration. The event managed to draw all news outlets and even online bloggers, and of course Ram's network managed to snag an exclusive interview with the five princes.
The interview was going to be conducted by Jon in an on site office away from the crowd, which meant that Cedric could remove his disguise and give his answers comfortably.
Nicole, who was slightly annoyed by the fact that the photo op involved her brother rather than her, joined the boys for the interview.
"Sirs, I promise to make this interview as short as possible." Jon said as the group took their seats.
"No worries Jon. If you forget anything, Ram can just send us a message." Alexi teased.
"Hey, I'm a busy man too!" Ram complained. His friends just laughed at him.
"Let's begin." Cedric calmly said.
"Mr. Reyes, what made you decide to build a project that involved all of your friends?" Jon asked.
"I wanted to create something more than just a factory, I wanted to truly build a community, and Congressman Alexander Sebastian offered me the perfect location to build that." Cedric went on to explain how to build the community each of his friends offered to chip in and help.
The questions that Jon asked were mostly on how Cedric planned to expand Mor Co. as well as who was going to be leading the expansion. Nothing too sensational, but enough to get people curious.
"Sir, there are some questions that I'd like to ask that are a bit personal in nature. Please tell me if it's too much and I will remove them from the article." Jon said as he approached the final questions.
Cedric just nodded giving him permission.
"Sir, what do you think of Miss Adrianna Hernandez-Reyes?" Jon asked the first sensational question.
"She's a very capable and promising woman." Cedric answered with a smile.
"What can you say about the rumors that you are a playboy?" Jon asked.
"I'm a loyal type of guy." Cedric laughed at the last question.
"Why did you disappear for thirteen years?" Jon continued to ask seeing as none of his questions had bothered Cedric yet.
"I was training to inherit the family business. I still am. Mor Co. is the first challenge I have to face." Cedric explained.
"That's all sir." Jon said double checking his notes.
Cedric placed his facemask and glasses back on and the group went back to rejoin the party.
