"Wake up. Wake up" a voice yells as they shake me, trying to get me up. I quickly open my eyes to see Jordyn standing there with a big smile on her face. "Took you long enough, sleeping beauty" she says as I cover my face with a pillow trying to ignore her. "Yes?" I asked with an annoyed groan. Jordyn put her hands on her hips giving me a serious look before smirking and jumping on me. "Happy 10th Birthday my amazing best friend" she yelled in happiness as I cracked a smile. "What are we doing on this fine day" she asked as I sit up and shrug my shoulders. "Well will figure it out, now get your ass up and get dress" She says as she pushes me out of the bed. "Ow" I exclaim as I fall. I give her a playful glare while I get up but she gives me an innocent smile, as I laugh. As I get dress I slightly frown. Will this year be the year my family finally pay attention to me and Hope or just Hope?
Me and Jordyn walk downstairs to see almost everyone around Hope, giving her presents. They were all laughing and telling her how great she is. As they heard me and Jordyn's foot steps them turn to look at us. I smile at them and say, "Happy 10th Birthday Hope". "Yeah whatever" she says with attitude before they all go back to admiring. I look down at the floor in sadness, they didn't even say Happy Birthday to me. I look up when I feel at tap on my shoulder. I turn around to see Uncle Kol and Aunt Davina smiling at me. "Shouldn't you be over there giving Hope a birthday present" I say in sadness. "Why would I be over there when I could be with my favorite niece" Davina says as she gives me a hug. Uncle Kol doesn't because he was to busy giving his siblings glares. Kol always felt like an outsider to his family, and hated how they treated Aurora the same. He then snapped out of his glares when he felt the small 10 year old hugging him with tears in her eyes. He bent down to her and said, "What's wrong?". "Is there something wrong with me? Did I do something wrong? Why do they like her more then me and not equally?" Aurora askes as she begins to cry. "Hey listen to me closely. You're amazing. Don't ever underestimate yourself because they are idiots" Kol say with soft eyes but a stern voice as I nod. "Lets go" Davina says as she and Jordyn take me to her and uncle Kol's room.
About 3 hours ago all the family except Kol and Davina already left to celebrate Hope and my birthday but of course without me. Some family (Hint the sarcasm). Me and Jordyn were practicing spells when I hear the front door open. Me and Jordyn look at each other and shrug. We knew that my family came inside because I could hear their laughter.
Just then the door swinged open revealing my sister, Hope. "Aurora, give me your spell book. Mom said I can have it." Hope demanded. "Why? Go use yours" I said. "Because I can't find mine" Hope said in a 'Duh' tone.
"Well we are using her, so..." Jordyn said with a eye roll. Jordyn hated Hope with every bone in her body. She hated how the Mikealson's treated her bestfriend. "No I want it now" Hope yelled. "We're using it" I exclaim calmly unlike Hope. Hope scoffs as I try not to roll my eyes.
"What going on up here?" Klaus demands as he, mom, Uncle Kol, and Aunt Davina run into the room behind him. Me and Hope start talking at the same time making it hard to understand what's going on. "Hey!" Davina says making me and hope shut up. "One at a time" she exclaims. I was about to say what happened but Hope got to it first. "I asked Aurora to give me her spell book but she won't" Hope says as Klaus and Hayley glare at me.
"Me and Jordyn are using it" I say quietly trying not to make them mad. "Give it to Hope now" Klaus yells as everyone flinches. "But I'm using it" I say still quiet. Just then Klaus runs up to me and grabs me by my throat as he pushes me onto the wall. Kol was about to ran up to Klaus to help me but Hayley held him back.
"Give her the book now" He demands while he looks at me as if I was the prey and he was a predator. Jordyn quickly gabs the book and gives it to Hope as Jordyn continues to glare at her. Klaus lets go of me and I fell to the floor as Jordyn rans up and hugs me. I look at Klaus with disbelief in my eyes as I cry in Jordyn's arms. For a second I saw sadness and regret but he cover it up and went out of the room with Hayley and Hope following behind.
"I want to go. I don't want to stay" I whispered as I cried in Jordyn's arms as Davina and Kol run up to me and started to check up on me. "Are you sure?" Kol asks with seriousness as I nod. "Pack your stuff" Davina whispered as me and Jordyn look at them in disbelief. "Really?" I ask them.
"If that's what you really want but it has to be quick. They are about to go out for dinner so that's when we can get you out" Kol says with tears forming in his eyes. "I'm going with you" Jordyn says as I shake my head in disagreement. "I can't ask you to do that" I tell. "Your my bestfriend, I would never leave you" Jordyn says as I smile at her. Me and Jordyn use are magic to pack everything into the suitcases. "Jordyn come with me, we need to tell Marcel what's going on and we need you to pack your stuff" Kol says as he speed her and him to Marcel's place.
While they went Davina gets the food for us to travel with. I on the other hand get paper and start writing to each one of my family members. Explaining why I left and how each one hurt me in some awful way. When I was done I put the letters on my bed in my now empty room.
