                                                                 (Spirit)

As I said before, I didn't need to sleep. So instead of staying at Impulses base, I went back to Mt. Scarmore to practice some of my magic. I knew I could open a rift from Helsworld to Hermitcraft, but I wondered if it worked to go to different spots in Hermitcraft. If I was in the town hall, could I open a portal and immediately be at Grian's barge?

I made sure to check that no one was behind me before leaving, but apparently I didn't check good enough because while I was trying to open a rift to Impulses base, a splash potion was thrown at my feet, and I blacked out.

We all woke up and started to make breakfast. Zedaph was making scrambled eggs for everyone, and there was some cereal that Iskall and Mumbo got into a fight over. Something about weather to pour the milk or cereal first? I don't really know, I wasn't paying attention, what with still being a little groggy from last night. I was halfway eating my portion of scrambled eggs when Doc came up in a panic.

"Guys, where is Spirit?" I widened my eyes. Now that I thought about it, I hadn't seen her when I woke up. I looked around the room. Some people had panicked looks on there faces, the others just looked confused.

"Ghouls don't need sleep, so she should be fine." Helsian said as he drank what looked to be tea.

"But if she doesn't need sleep, wouldn't she have told us where she was going? Or at least been back by now?" I piped in. Now it was Helsians turn to go wide eyed. Trying to calm him and Doc down a little, I spoke again, "I mean, she is probably fine, but we should at least try to find out where she is."

Helsian didn't hesitate, he leapt up from where he was sitting and dashed for the door. He sighed and asked if I had a spare elytra, it took a few minutes, but I was able to get him an elytra, and some rockets.

"Why are you rushing Helsian, whats wrong?" I asked before he left. What he said next made me freeze in my seat,

"She is not added to the player list, if she somehow dies, she dies for good." Now I was rushing as well. If a player is not added to a player list, they aren't added to the server rules, so they cannot respawn. So if something bad at happened to Spirit, it would be all my fault.

                         (Helsian)

The minute I had the elytra and rockets, I shot out Impulses water door. I didn't know where she could be, but I had a good idea. I decided to check the shopping district first, hoping I would get lucky and find her here.

Sure enough, their she was. But my luck had turned when I saw that she was lying on top of Mt. Scarmore, her breathing slow, and remaining liquid of what I knew to be G⍑𝙹⚍ꖎ ꖌ╎ꖎꖎᒷ∷ (ghoul killer, it poisons a ghoul to the point of death, and it is very painful.) It was the only known source to be able to kill ghouls. I knew the only reason why she was still alive was because of her demon half, but the poison was slowly killing her completely.

I didn't have a communicator yet, so I had no way of telling the Hermits, or letting them know that I needed help. I sighed, I only had one option. I quickly summoned a piece of paper and pen, wrote my note in galactic, which is the only language I knew how to write, and teleported it to Xisuma. I had told myself that I wouldn't use my powers here, but this was way too important.

While I waited for Xisuma, I thought about my options. I paced, and paced, and paced. Until finally, they showed up. I let out a breathe I didn't know I had been holding in, and breafed them on what had happened.

Time skip brought to you by @revvz_qt! Thank you for helping me with this book! (And book 2 even tho I don't know if I am gonna do it yet, up for the readers to decide ;) ok, yup that's the timeskip)

We had gotten Spirit into Impulses base, Xisuma was trying to add her to the player list, but it was giving him multiple difficulties. I won't go into much detail, but if she died, it was for sure going to be a permanent death. None of us wanted her to die, she had helped to save all of our lives! Some of us on multiple occasions.

Joe and Stress were the medics, helping to make sure she stayed breathing, Cleo wanted to help, so she basically became the errand girl. And the rest of did whatever we could to help. There was not a time when one of us wasn't working, or helping out in some small way. I had gone to make the living room more suitable, making sure there were enough beds for everyone, when I heard Stress .

"HEY GUYS? IS SPIRIT SUPPOSE TO BE RED?" she yelled. I rushed over right away. Sure enough, their was a faint red glow, making her seem red, and only visible enough to just be able to see, outlining her body.

"I don't really know." I said, as everyone in the room turned to me.

"What do you mean, you don't know?" Iskall asked

"Well, normally her magic is blue, redish with some purple, but this is just Red. The only thing I can come up with, is that because it was a Ghoul killing potion, her ghoul magic is out of commission, so her demon magic is trying to save her." I continued when I saw all of the confused faces. "Basically, she is trying to save herself."
