chapter one: where are you?

*Dream's POV*

What on earth just happened? I thought to myself. I pushed myself up from the couch I was lying on, trying to remember how I got there in the first place. As the memories flooded back, a booming headache came with it.

 Okay, so I was playing a Minecraft plugin with George and Sapnap. It was all fun and games, until we got shocked. That was extremely weird. An even weirder detail piqued my interest. I passed out on the floor, not on the couch. I shrugged it off, George and Sapnap probably woke up before me and brought me to the soft piece of furniture I woke up on. 

I walked to the kitchen, looking for my friends. The silence in the house was a little disturbing, if sap and George were awake, they would be making some kind of noise. I walked through the hallway, turning left on the end, in to the kitchen. The first thing that caught my eye was George's laptop case. 

Usually the rectangle in the middle was a bright red, but now it just looked kinda dull. What the fuck I had no idea what was happening but it scared me. My eyes widened with shock and fear as I heard a voice in my head: ''what the hell!''

*Sapnap's POV*

A scream almost left my mouth, but I managed to hold it in at the last second. I just woke up and was very confused to say the least. Normally when I wake up, I'm in my bed or on the floor, because I fell out of my bed. This time, I was standing in the kitchen, did I sleepwalk or something?

 I tried looking around the kitchen, but for some reason I couldn't. Instead my body was checking out George's laptop case. ''What the hell!'' This time I didn't even try to be quiet, figuring out what's happening is just more important right now. 

The words didn't even come out of my mouth, instead, they just seemed to be floating through the air. The body I was in stiffened

 ''Sapnap, where are you?'' I felt the words leaving my mouth... our mouth? 

''Dream! I'm here!'' I yelled.

''Where, I don't see you?''

''I'm in the kitchen you idiot! Next to the table!''

''Impossible, that's where I am!''

''Can you guys please tone it down a bit, I just woke up.''

Dream and I went silent when a third voice joined the conversation. It was George.

*George's POV*

''Can you guys please tone it down a bit, I just woke up'' I mumbled annoyed.

 I knew Dream and Sapnap can be loud and usually I'm fine with it. But not after just waking up. They went silent. I opened my eyes and looked around, only to see that I was standing in the kitchen.

 ''George?'' Dream asked carefully ''are you in the kitchen?''.

 I tried nodding my head, but I wasn't able to. ''Yes, why?'' I answered. 

Before either Sapnap or Dream could say anything, my eyes fell on my laptop case. The rectangle in the middle was a colour I had never been able to see before: red. I started to panic, but even then, my heartrate wasn't speeding up.

 ''S-Sapnap? Dream? What's happening? Where are you guys?'' They didn't answer. Instead I was running to the bathroom. Well my body was running, to me it felt more like watching trough a movie screen. My body walked up to the mirror, when I looked at it, I almost fainted.

a/n George and Dream both notice the colour difference, because the body they're in is protanomaly (it's sort of an in between of normal vision and protanopia [which George has]).
