*Dream's POV*

I ran upstairs to the bathroom, skipping at least 5 steps on my way up. I slammed the white bathroom door open and moved the body I was in to the mirror as fast as humanly possible, almost tripping over a towel. When I looked at my reflection, I fell silent and so did Sapnap and George.

*3rd person POV*

There was a boy standing in front of the mirror, he was about 5,11 tall and had wavy, dark-blonde hair. His eyes were different colours, 1 was ocean blue while the other one was chocolate brown.

Faint freckles were spread all over his face and arms, he was wearing, checkered Vans, ripped grey jeans that were a little too long for him, a soft looking green hoodie with a smiley face on it and a white ribbon tied around his head.

The expression on his face was pure shock.

To the outside he was just one boy, who was very shocked by his appearance, in reality something very different was going on.

''Guys,'' the boy whispered ''I think we're sharing the same body.''

*Sapnap's POV*

To be honest, I felt like I shouldn't be surprised, I mean, how else would you explain this? But none the less I was. I tried to say something, to come up with something to say, but George was faster. ''But how!?'' The Brit yelled. ''Could you be a little less loud please, you're earraping me.'' I responded. ''So Dream, are you the only one of us who can be in control?'' I asked, afraid of the answer.

''I have no idea, we can try though?!''

Dream sounded confused, scared even, it was the first time I ever heard him genuinely stressing out over a situation.

''But how are we going to test it? We have no clue what's going on except for the fact that we are sharing one body!'' George also sounded stressed and I can't blame him for it.

''Okay Dream, focus on giving me control, I will do the same. Maybe that works.'' I suggested

''Sure''

I focused on being in control of our body, blinking, talking and running around. Then all of the sudden it felt like someone threw a bucket of water in my face, as reality hit me. Did it work? I tried moving my fingers and was suprised to find out I could. '''Guys it worked!'' I yelled, my voice filled with surprise. I could hear Dream and George speaking in my head, it felt very strange.

''Great! Now we know how to switch!'' Dream said

''And I can just sit here and watch while you guys do all the work!" George said. He sounded like he was smiling.

''Yeah right''

I concentrated once again, throwing George in the control position. I could tell dream was doing the same.

''Guys, what the heck!'' The British boy was surprised at the sudden action.

''Now we can lay back and watch you do all the work,'' Dream and I said in sinc. Earning an ''I hate you guys'' from George. ''Ýou better learn to deal with it, because it seems we are gonna be stuck like this for a while.''

*George POV*

Sapnap's words scared me, even if they were true. I took a deep breath and looked at the time.

''6.30 PM, NO WAY WE'VE BEEN OUT FOR 6 HOURS!'' Dream's voice boomed trought my head.

''Should we make dinner?'' I asked

''I guess we should,'' Sapnap answered ''Who of you guys knows how to cook some actual edible food, because that person isn't me!''

''I suck at cooking'' I replied truthfully, every time I cooked, we'd end up ordering Pizza.

''I can'' Dream sounded happy. He took control of our body once again and started heading downstairs.

Looks like we're getting the hang of this, I thought.

Dream started cutting up chicken and put a pot on the stove, waiting for the water to boil. He seasoned the chicken and jumped up to sit on the kitchen counter.

''What are you making dream?'' I asked, genuinely curious.

''Chicken alfredo, my mom's recipe''

My mouth started to water. Not physically of course, but in my mind it did. When the Floridian opened the cabinet in which we stored the herbs, a question came back to my mind.

''C-can we see colour normally?'' I asked. This would be the first time I was able to see colour normally, maybe I could even have a new favourite colour!

''No'' Sapnap's answer stopped my thought train.

''No? But I'm able to see colours I have never been able to see before! Isn't this how you see the world?''

''It isn't George, this looks kind of dull, not as vibrant as someone with normal colour vision sees the world.'' My nineteen-year-old friend answered.

*Dream's POV*

While I was preparing dinner, George and Sapnap were very quiet, probably not to distract me. I sat down on the counter.

''What are you making Dream?'' George asked.

I smiled ''Chicken alfredo, my mom's recipe'' I said, genuinely proud of the dish I was making. My mom would always make this on Saturdays, that's why I always looked forward to them. I put back the herbs I used so I wouldn't have to do that later. My friends landed on an interesting subject, I was listening to them, but didn't interfere.

''No? But I'm able to see colours I have never been able to see before! Isn't this how you see the world?''

''It isn't George, this looks kind of dull, not as vibrant as someone with normal colour vision sees the world.''

''Aren't we protanomaly?'' I asked, joining the conversation.

''Are we what?'' Sapnap asked

''Protanomaly, a colour blindness that is sort of in between Protanopia and normal colour vision,'' I explained ''After I found out George is colour-blind I did some research on the topic''.

''You did?''

''Yes, and I'm glad I did so. Maybe we should get Enchroma glasses tho.'' I said.

''I agree, after seeing this I want to know what the normal colours look like even more.'' George agreed.

I finished the chicken alfredo and sat down at the table. I swirled some of the cheesy noodles around my fork and brought it to our mouth. It tasted so good! It's been ages since I've eaten this and feeling the nice texture in my mouth in combination with the delicious flavour of it, I could swear I was on cloud nine.

''Dude! This is so good!'' I heard Sapnap say. George hummed In agreement.

As I kept eating the rest of the pasta I could think of one thing: Maybe this wasn't as bad as I thought.
