---------------------> THERE WERE TIMES WHEN ARTEMIS POTTER DEARLY WISHED SHE COULD GET AWAY WITH MURDER. These sort of dark thoughts did not always occur to her but when it did, it was for a genuine reason. Neither Artemis nor Roman wanted to recount how their date went to the rest of their friends and while the two had a nonverbal, mutual agreement between themselves to not ask each other, Gen, sadly, did not get the memo.
It was Gen's curiosity that led her to become a Ravenclaw in the first place and if she didn't stop interrogating them, Artemis was willing to bet that it would be the cause of her death as well. Gen had been badgering both her and Roman non stop ever since they had returned from their trip to Hogsmeade village and neither of them had given the girl any details, much to her dismay.
"Did any of you kiss your date? More importantly, was their tongue? Did you exchange salivas?" Gen questioned eagerly.
"So the weather is really nice," Artemis commented to Roman, ignoring Gen's existence as a whole.
"Indeed." Roman nodded, following Artemis' action. "I hope it stays that way tomorrow. We have a match against Hufflepuff, after all. Will you be commenting?"
"Stop ignoring me, both of you!"
"Of course! Golden eagles have been known to prey on badgers, after all. I've already prepared some lovely dialogues in my mind." Artemis replied to Roman who smiled.
"If you're getting so many dialogues for badgers, then I'd assume you'll have a very great amount for a Slytherin versus Ravenclaw match, especially considering eagles feed on snakes regularly."
"I'm serious! Give me attention! I mean it!"
Artemis chuckled. "Oh yes, I do. My comments for that particular match will be glorious."
"I'm looking forward to it."
"You should."
"-Artemis! Roman! Answer me! Reginald, ask them to tell me if they tasted the tongues of their dates!" Gen ordered her boyfriend.
"Don't bring me into this, Gen!" Reginald raised his hand in a surrender motion before quickly slipping away from the Common Room.
Gen narrowed her eyes; first at her partner and secondly at her friends. "I will find out if there was tongue involved in your dates. Mark my words, I will, or my name isn't Genevieve Elisabeth Rhodes!" She proclaimed before primly turning on her heels and stomping away, most likely to interrogate either Tom or Bilius.
Artemis looked at Roman with a confused expression. "Her middle name is Elisabeth? I thought it was Delilah."
"So did I." Roman said, humming thoughtfully. "She looks more like a Delilah than an Elisabeth, doesn't she?"
Artemis nodded her head in agreement. "I think so too." She paused. "Do you think she'll change her middle name if we asked?"
Roman shrugged. "Doesn't hurt to try."
