Ch.2: Sweet

*Time Skip- Lunch*

Its lunch and me an jack went to our lockers.

"I wonder who this person who likes you is?" Jack said," maybe I can help them!"

"Or give them away, or humiliate them." I said

"Doesn't everyone get humiliated when they talk to their crush?" Jack asked

"For other people." I answered," I don't cause I don't have crushes."

"You'll have one sooner or later and when you do I'm gonna be there for it!" He said supportive

I hummed and we got to our lockers. We opened them up and got our lunch out.

"Where do we go today!" Jack asked

"I don't know." I replied As I shut my locker

"Lets try going to the cafeteria!" Jack suggested

"We'll get jumped or harassed." I replied

"We can sneak in!" He said

"Or be twice as bullied in a secluded area." I replied

"C'mon, lets be normal teens in a cafeteria!" He begged

We don't eat in the cafeteria cause we use to always be bullied and get thrown food. So we would eat in different places each day to throw everyone off and be left alone.

But jack is tired of being bullied and wants the best for me. I sighed and stood with him.

"Okay." I said

He seemed happy and we headed to the direction of the cafeteria. He then started ranting to me about mathematics and home. His parents have been arguing and fighting a lot recently.

He would sleep over at my house sometimes to get away from their negativity, but he always seems to like mine. But I listened.

I always listened to him, there's no one in the world that could stop me from listening to him. Even if I'm not worthy to have him, he sticks by me to make me happy whenever he had the chance to.

I'm grateful.

"-and they just won't stop yelling! I know we're irish but were so loud to the point where we're considered human fucking microphones!" He ranted," they're getting on my nerves and are really starting to make shit hard!"

I looked at him and he looked sad. He looked like he wanted to cry and I didn't really like that. So I looked at myself for a moment and then let out a soft sigh. I stopped him and he seemed a little confused.

I hugged him and he gasped a little.

"There are three choices in your life..." I said," give up....give in....or give it your all..."

He hugged me back and I could hear his heart beat in his chest.

"So which will you take?" I asked

He hugged me tighter and chuckled softly.

"I'll give it my all." He said, sounding confident

Never get tired of doing the little things for others...sometimes those little things occupy the biggest parts of their hearts.

So I do as much as I can to make Jack happy, even if its little things. Anyways, we let go of each other and he smiled brightly at me.

"Thanks Y/N!" He said grateful

"No problem." I replied and then continued walking to the cafeteria

I heard him rush behind me and then he was besides me.
