*A Few Minutes Later*
Cassy an me were done changing and now she was doing her makeup. She said I can do whatever I wanted to myself so I went to my body mirror and looked at myself.
"Wow..." I said surprised but softly," I don't..look hideous!"
"You look gorgeous!" Cassy encouraged
She then stood behind me as I continued to look at myself.
"Yeah...I guess I do..?" I replied softly
She hummed and then put her hands on my shoulders as she got closer.
"It's crazy, huh?" She teased
We both chuckled and she then looked at me through the mirror.
"Ya know, if ya wanna look more not hideous then some red lipstick and light addition of maskcara would really bring out your eyes an compliment your bravery!" She said
I nodded at her and she went to get the things she said. I looked at myself one last time and for once...I saw someone worth something and I didn't feel so empty! I felt alive, I felt happy, I was just...I just felt like me...
I smiled softly and then went to cassy feeling grateful to have her. She put the two makeup things on me and I tried not to fidget for her. She took off the hair clip that came with the dress and messed with my hair a bit.
We then got to talking about which song was best for her an simons dance and prepared as best as we could...
*Half An Hour Later*
3rd POV
The girls were ready, just making a few final adjustments. The boys were all downstairs but mark was still on his way with a surprise. Y/Ns mom was lecturing the boys, except simon, on how to treat a girl right and how to make one swoon.
She, on the other hand was dealing with some issues that arrived earlier than she expected. But she was still proud of the way her daughter was opening up. The males anxiously waited for the girl they so badly wanted to please and love.
"I don't wanna seem impatient, but are they done?" Simon asked
The boys agreed with simon and looked at Y/Ns mum.
"Alright, let me go check!" She said
She headed upstairs and made sure the boys stayed down at the bottom. She knocked on Y/Ns door and the girls allowed her in. Her mother entered an closed the door behind her then gasped at her daughter.
She stood upon her mother and put her hands together in front of her a bit nervous.
"Heh...um? How do I look?" She asked, nervous
Her mother smiled warmly at her and put her hands over her chest as her heart felt a little heavy.
"You look absolutely beautiful!" She said proud
'You're growin up too fast kiddo, don't leave me out of it...'
Y/N smiled at her mom and then hugged her.
"Thanks mom, for always being there and encouraging me to have fun! I know I wasn't the best but you're the best damn mom that I didn't deserve and...I love you mom..." She said softly
Her mother shed a tear and hugged her back tight.
"I'm so proud of you, don't forget that! I will never stop helping you even if you ever want me out of your life!" She said sweetly," I love you honey, and I hope you will always remember that."
