CHAPTER 25

Manik and  gang  were sitting in the living room waiting for shivaay's call  . Their was a awkward silence in the room . Nobody spoke anything as all of them were in a deep thinking mode analysing their actions and contemplating their next move .

Their trances were broken by the notice of the call on cabir's phone showing shivaay's number . Cabir immediately handed it to Manik who in turn out it on the speaker and then said

Manik : Mr Oberoi did you reach there ?

Shivaay burned in anger seeing his tone which was sounding arrogant with a tinge of self appraise which was burning shivaay's inside . He spoke in a dangerous tone

Shivaay : where is my wife Manik ... This is not a joke manik . Tell me god damnit where the hell is my wife ?

Manik laughed viciously making the O bros burn in anger and spoke in between his laughs

Manik : ohh man such attitude is rare and you know what I like it but I seem you won't appreciate if I start using the same so please keep your attitude to yourself

Shivaay calmed seeing his stern tone knowing immediately that they are not in a situation to annoy or overpower him so he spoke calmly but still arrogantly

Shivaay : Manik let's not go so far . Tell me where my wife is

Manik closed his eyes and swallowed his anger and said

Manik : Do me a favour Shivaay just open your phone's front camera and just look at yourself . You know the desperation you feel now is what I felt in the evening . You bloody unfaithful human . How could you do that to that little soul ? What made you think that I won't take a revenge .... Manik malhotra naam Yaad rakhna  ....

Shivaay : I didn't do anything . Couldn't I even send a letter to my sister. What makes you think I don't love her .

Manik lost it completely listening to this and exclaimed

Manik : ohh just shut up . You know what  ... You are the filthiest human on this planet . Your wife's will reach the Oberoi mansion safely in about half an hour and dare you take Nandini's name  ever again .

With this manik kept the phone while the gang looked at manik in shock because they were not planning this . They were planning to trouble O bros more by sending more random locations but here he just ended the plan . Cabir came in front of manik and kept a assuring hand on his shoulder maybe understanding his inner turmoil and said

Cabir : you could have controlled manik

Manik hugged cabir in return and said whimpering and sobbing like a child

Manik : I couldn't do that cabir...... They were speaking about barfii . I just want them to never ever even take her name . I couldn't stand them

Cabir rubbed his back to calm him down while mukti hugged him from back  and navya brought a glass of water .

Abhi left to make arrangements for the departure and safe reaching for Oberoi women while dhruv went to talk to the guards regarding the change in plan

Aliya standing in a extreme corner witnessing manik sobbing while mukti and cabir rubbing his back and navya  asking him to drink water . She came to Manik and put a hand on his shoulder and just said

Aliya : you did the right thing manik

Everyone looked at her with alien expression including manik as he also didn't understand what she meant while Aliya continued
