I heard Mason walk out, and I leaned my forehead against the door of the bathroom, willing my cock to go down so I could fucking think. There was no doubt that I was attracted to him, and Olivia, and although it was admittedly overwhelming to be in this situation I couldn't deny how badly I wanted what they were offering. If my memory never came back, I could just stay here and make new ones with them.
That wouldn't be so bad, would it?
I started to run the shower, those thoughts and many more racing through my mind. By the time I was out and dressed, making my way to the kitchen where the smell of cooking food teased my senses, I'd come to a decision that I was hoping to share with them. I wanted to do what felt right, and I was willing to bet they'd support my decision.
My vision was rapidly improving, and already I could make out the way Olivia and Mason effortlessly moved around the kitchen, chatting casually and making each other laugh as they cooked. My chest ached at the sight.
I want that. I want to be a part of that. The thoughts flit across my mind, only solidifying my choice.
"What're you guys making?" I watched them turned to me with what I was pretty sure were smiles their blurred faces.
"Taco stuff. Should be done pretty soon!" Olivia's peppy voice filled the air as she turned back to the stove.
"Can I help with anything?" I made my way towards them carefully, well aware that I was still at a slight disadvantage and still healing.
"How about shredding some cheese?" Mason waved a block of said cheese at me and I nodded, reaching out for it as I got close. I methodically passed the block over the shredder, listening to Mason and Olivia talk contentedly as we finished getting everything together.
Olivia set the table and Mason and I helped bring the food. We served ourselves, and a comfortable quiet fell over us for a few moments while we ate.
"Oh, I have to run into town tomorrow to get some supplies, by the way," Mason said between bites. "Any requests for something to bring back?"
"I have a list of a few things somewhere. I'll find it before you go," Olivia replied with mouth half full and making me smile.
"Great. Noah?"
I thought about it, not even sure what I would ask for. Also, the fact that I didn't have any money to contribute to the trip held me back. "No, I think I have everything I need."
Mason and Olivia were quiet, and I saw them glance at each other although I couldn't see well enough to read their expressions. I shifted in my chair slightly, hoping that they wouldn't make a big deal out of it.
My decision swirled around in my mind, and I knew I couldn't wait any longer to tell them. Plus, it was a perfect change of subject. I set my food down and took a drink of my water, clearing my throat.
The air changed slightly, but I had no idea if they felt the same anticipation that I did. Maybe it was just me. My heart raced, and I cleared my throat one more time before speaking.
"This thing between all of us," I said with a gesture of my shaky hands. "I want it. I want to try."
"Oh thank god," Olivia breathed out. She jumped out of her chair and came over to me, straddling my thighs and placing a brief but hard kiss on my lips. She wrapped her arms around my neck and squeezed me. I wrapped my arms around her as my heart nearly burst from my chest.
"That's not exactly the reaction I expected," I murmured into her hair. Her small laugh vibrated against my skin and I closed my eyes just to take it in.
