It all started at school on Halloween. My friends and I were eating lunch when Christian decided to ask, "Cameron have you ever played Slenderman?"
I said, "No what's that?"
"It's a computer game where you are a little girl with a flashlight, you have to travel through the woods at night to find 8 pieces of paper before Slenderman finds you."
"What does Slenderman look like", I asked.
Christian said, "He is a person with tentacles and without a face."
"It sounds stupid", I replied.
"It's the scariest thing ever! NEVER PLAY IT!"
"It doesn't even sound scary", I said.
"Just don't play it", Christian begged.
"I'm going to play it tonight at midnight", I said cockily.
That was the dumbest decision I had ever made in my life.
