Lina rushes to meet with Marco for her first day.
Marco: What took you so long?
Lina: Sorry, I had to take care of something first!
They enter Robert's den and join in with Lexi and someone else.
Marco: So, this is today's ace team, you already know Lexi, and this is Frank (Frank salutes her). Now, Let's go see Robert.
They walk into Robert's office and find him in some secret room: It's a drug and gun stash. At the back of the room is a steel door, in which he probably keeps all of his money.
Robert is leaning over a table full of papers.
Robert: Finally, you're here! (turning around) Let's dive in. This is a big one today. Our client is a very influential mobster, so don't let your guards down and stay alert. (turning to one of his bodyguards) Andre, give them the address of the exchange location.
They all exit Robert's office and head to the armory. They all pick a gun, except Lina, who stands there hesitating. Marco notices her and moves to her.
Marco: It's gonna be fine like I've told you, don't worry!
Lexi approaches her as well.
Lexi: (laying her hand on Lina's shoulder) The first run is scary and exciting at the same time. You don't really know what is waiting for you there, or what you will exactly be doing! Trust me, I've been there! (winking at her) but once you've done it, the rest of the deliveries will be a piece of cake!
Lina eventually gets ready and reluctantly takes the gun. They all get into a black van driven by Marco. They arrive at the exchange location, get out of the van, and start walking.
Marco: (looking around while walking) There is no one here!
Lexi: Something is wrong. I'm not feeling this ...
Frank: Guys, there's a car approaching northwest (they stop from walking).
The car stops a few miles away from them. For a moment, nothing happens. Then, four men get out of the car, stay there, and keep staring at them.
Marco: I am not liking this...
Marco notices that one of the men starts to reach for his gun.
Marco: (whispering) on my count, we run back to the van, in 3,2,1 NOW!
The men start shooting at them. They all run to take cover behind the van, but while escaping, Lexi is shot and falls to the ground.
Lina: No! Lexi!
Lina is about to run and help Lexi when Marco stops her.
Marco: What are you doing! You gonna get shot!
Lina: But I need to help her! She needs us! (she yells) We do not abandon people like this!
Marco: (he sighs then turns to Frank) Cover me! (to Lina) I'll go with you, but you stay close to me!
Lina nods. Marco starts shooting and fatally wounds two men, allowing Lina to drag Lexi near the van. At that moment, the remaining assailants run away.
Marco: Let's get outta here!
They all hurry into the van and speed up. Lexi is lying at the back, while Lina is keeping pressure on her wound. Lexi was shot in the abdomen, and she is losing a lot of blood. The sight of all this blood triggers Lina. She is pulled in a flashback: Blood everywhere and pieces of her... images that her memory tried to forget.
