Chara and Plushie went past the door. There they found someone watering the flowers...
Plushie:(!!!)
Plushie ducked and hid behind Chara's back.
Chara: Plushie? What are you doing-!
Tall monster: Hm? Is someone there?
Chara then saw the monster infront of her turn around. She was scared from his large size and his gaze.
Chara: Pl-... Plush...
Plushie:*Nervous* I-its fine Chara... he won't hurt you...
Chara tried to remain calm at the towering monster gazing at her.
Tall monster: Hmmm... Hello there. My name is Asgore, Caretaker of the ruins.
Chara:(Ruins? Is that what this place is called?)
Asgore: Do not hide from me, Toy.
Asgore hasn't seen a human in so long, yet he must remain calm and keep his composure.
Asgore: You have fallen down, haven't you. Child.
Chara: Y-yes.
Plushie reluctantly got back onto Chara's shoulder.
Asgore: Come now, the ruins are a dangerous place for a child. There are various puzzles and other monsters around, and you are not ready for them.
Chara: S-so what now?
Asgore: Hmmm... Come into my home my child.
Chara:(My child?)
Asgore: Of course, I will lead you through the traps. I will make sure you are safe.
Chara: I-... I... I accept...
Asgore had a fierce expression, but for a brief moment, Chara thought she saw a small visual of a genuine smile on his face.
Asgore: I see then. Follow me and hold my hand.
Plushie:*shaking* I-its fine Chara...
Chara:*gulp* Okay...
Chara held Asgore's hand, the black fur made it feel soft and the warmth from his hand made it feel conforting and assured Chara she was safe...
Asgore: Hmm. Come along now my child.
Chara: O-okay.
Asgore walked Chara through the ruins, the dusty and violet coloured walls made Chara have a strange feeling in her heart, not even she knew why.
Asgore led her through various puzzles, Chara managed to solve a few of them on her own however.
Asgore and Chara then found a Dummy. It looked very happy for some reason.
Asgore: You are doing well my child. Please listen up. Many monsters you meet in the underground may try to harm you, or block your way. But even in this dark Underground, talking to them and becoming a monster's friend is still possible.
Asgore: Ah! This training dummy is perfect for practice.
Chara:(?)
Asgore: Try giving mercy to the dummy.
Chara: Okay...
*battle initiate!*
*Its the Glad dummy!
Chara pressed the mercy button. She wanted to use spare, but it wasn't working.
Plushie: If the Mercy button doesn't work immediately, you have to ACT first!
Chara: Okay.
Chara chose the ACT button.
*Check
*Talk
*Glad dummy
-Its a dummy
Chara pressed the ACT button again,
*Check
*Talk
*You talked to the dummy...
Chara: Hi!
*it's not responding...
Chara pressed ACT once more, she saw the Glad dummy's name highlighted in a light violet colour
Plushie: Ooh! You can spare it now!
Chara: Ok!
Chara shifted back onto the MERCY button and used spare
*You won! You earned 0 exp and 0 gold.
Asgore: Well done my child!... *sigh*
...hate to do this to you. But I have to leave for something. So here.
Chara was given a cell phone.
Asgore: If you ever feel like you need help, or if we get seperated, please call.
Chara: I understand...
Chara felt the warmth and confort that Asgore provided, to such an extent that she had the gall to say her next word.
Chara: ...father?
Asgore:(!)...
Asgore:*chuckles* I see my child.
Advance through the ruins, you will eventually find my-... our. Home.
With that, Asgore disappeared into a dark corridor...
Plushie: Chara? Did you call him father?
Chara: Y-yes...
Plushie: Don't you have a... REAL father?
Chara:...I do. But he's not here anymore.
Plushie: Oh...
Chara: What should I do Plushie?
Plushie: Asgore is one of the kindest monsters out there. So you can go with him. You must.
Chara: Why?
Plushie: His home is connected to the only exit out of these ruins.
Chara:(!)
Plushie: But... we musn't tell him about our departure. If he knew we wanted to leave... he would destroy the exit.
Chara: But why?!
Plushie: I... will tell you later, lets just proceed for now.
Chara: Ok...
Chara just finished up a puzzle when she spotted a... ghost on the floor.
The ghost is somewhat trying to sing in its sleep.
*Move it with force?
*No *Yes
Plushue: You have to...
Chara: Okay...
*No *Yes
The ghost: Huh?
Chara: Uh... hi?
The ghost: Who would... Oh. I see.
The ghost flys upwards and hovers just above the ground.
*Battle initiate!
