Harry and I were "wrestling." I call it "wrestling" because we were just one; there wasn't much actual wrestling we could have done. Anyway, that's not the point. We were all downstairs; me, Harry, Mum, and Dad. It was a normal night just like always. That is, until Dad and Mum looked all freaked out. "Lily! Take Harry and Kira upstairs! He's here!"

"I don't want to leave you, James!" Mum cries. He pulls her in for a quick kiss.

"You have to. You guys are my whole entire world. I love you. Forever."

"I love you too!"

"Go!" Mum took me and my brother upstairs, me in one arm and Harry in another. She set both of us in his crib. We didn't know what was going on, but we knew something was wrong. There was a loud thud that came from downstairs and a big, bright green light. I heard someone coming up the stairs. Was it Dad? Wrong. An old man enters the room. "Move aside."

"Please! Take me! Don't hurt the children!" Mum pleaded.

"I won't warn you once again. Move aside and your life will be spared." Mum didn't move. She stayed there, blocking us. "Avada Kevadra!" The man yelled. Mum fell to the ground motionless. Harry and I moved closer together, hugging each other. He pointed his wand at us. "Avada Kevadra!" And, just like that, he was gone. Harry got a lightning bolt scar on his forehead. I got a star scar on my neck. A big man came in and took Harry and me in his hands. He sobbed a bit. He took us outside, and there was Uncle Moony! "Moony!" I called. I reached my hand out for him. I didn't like being in this big man's arms. Uncle Moony could take me back to my parents! The big man took me to his bike and we flew somewhere. Harry fell asleep, but I didn't. Soon, we landed and saw an old man with a beard and a stern-looking lady. Will they take me to mommy and daddy? Who are all these strangers? Where's mommy and daddy? I started to cry. The big man handed me to the man with the beard. "It's all right. You're safe now."

"What do we do now?" the big man asked.

"Harry is going to stay here with his Aunt and Uncle."

"What about Kira?" The lady asked.

"She'll stay with some muggle friends of mine. She can control the elements. It would be best if she wasn't to stay with the Dursleys. Also. We must let everyone think she's dead. Perhaps it would delay Voldemort's return."

"Return? isn't he dead?" The big man asked, frightened.

"No. He will return. I will modify Sirius's memory."

So, they left Harry with the Dursleys and me with my adoptive parents. My parents have a whole lot of business meetings, so they're always gone and I'm usually alone. They've homeschooled me my entire life so no one questions my abilities. I lived like this until I was 13 years old. But, something changed; Sirius Black, my Godfather, escaped Azkaban. Sirius is innocent. Oh, right. I also have a photographic memory. I can remember everything I've ever seen, heard, or read. It's both a blessing and a curse. Last-minute, Dad and Mum changed their secret keeper to Peter Pettigrew. If I told Dumbledore, I don't think he'd tell me, though. So, I keep it to myself. No one would believe me anyway. I've promised myself that I'll clear his name one day. On the positive side, I get to go to Hogwarts and meet my brother! I can't tell him, but still. I'll be starting my third year at Hogwarts. Dumbledore gave me a bunch of books so I can catch up on my studies. He also helped me practice some magic so I won't be too behind when I join my peers. That was nice of him. My parents took me to King's Cross Station. "Sorry we can't stay too long," Dad says. I shrug. I'm used to it. My parents are very busy people. "It's okay dad. You both will be back for Christmas, right?" I double confirm, because they often double-book meetings and miss stuff.
