When we enter the Potions classroom, I hold my head down low and take my seat next to Draco. This is so awkward. He passes some papers back. He basically throws mine at me. I don't look at it until he goes back to his seat. "What's wrong? Scared to see yourself fail?" Draco smirks.

"No. I don't fail, Draco. I only excel," I say.

"I could think of a few subjects where you excel at," He says while smirking.

"Mr. Malfoy, Miss...Danvers. Do you think this class is an exception to you?" Snape asks.

"Sorry," I say a bit too fast. Draco stares at me, trying to figure out what's wrong. I sit low for the rest of the class. An owl flies in and throws me a letter. I look down at it. My parent's wills. I open the letter. "What's that?" Draco asks. Tears burn my eyes. I show it to him. "Oh." I open it slowly and read the contents. Nothing. They've basically left nothing for me! They sold their house and gave the money to a charity. They've donated the rest of the money to other charities and my stupid, rich, cousin, Nicole. But they didn't leave a single cent for me? That sounds selfish, but how am I supposed to... I look down at the last sentence. You will be staying with your Aunt Rosa and Uncle Jim. I abruptly stand up. Draco looks at me. "They're trying to ship me off to my dumb aunt and uncle!" I yell and get out of here in tears. I go to the Moaning Myrtle bathroom. That's why they didn't leave me a single cent. They gave it to my stupid Aunt and Uncle. Moaning Myrtle giggles when she sees me. "Oooooh, I haven't seen you since you cried about your parents!" I don't want her side comments. "Well, this time I'm crying about the same thing. Fuck off, Myrtle." She wails. Oh well. My Aunt and Uncle don't like me. They hate magic. And, they hate me. They're those rich people that you have in town who flaunt all of their money. They also fulfill all of my cousin's needs. Like. Litterally. Every. Single. One. Of. Them. They also look down upon anyone who doesn't have the same amount of money as they do. And they're jealous of anyone who has more money than them. Awful people, really. They live in a mansion. They have maids and butlers. God. They're like the muggle version of Draco's family. They're racist and homophobic freaks. I hate them. Nicole's the worst of them. I'm so glad I'm not genetically related to them. I don't think I could survive an entire summer with them every year. Well. If I had to do that, I'd get emancipated at 16. I'd have to find money and a job and an apartment for that summer, but I could do that. I don't have much in my Gringott's bank account. This is so stressful. I can't believe my parents didn't leave a single cent for me. And why would they send me to mom's sister and brother-in-law's house? They know how much I don't like them.

(time skip)

I skip dinner and go get some food in the kitchen. I'm going to try and find Uncle Padfoot. He hasn't come to get food in a while. I think he feels guilty. I grab a lot of food and run out of the Castle and into the Forbidden Forest. "SIRIUS!" I call, "I'VE GOT FOOD FOR YOU!" I run and search for him. After 15 minutes, I find him. He's about to run off. "Wait! I've got some food for you," I push the food towards him. He turns back to his human form and hesitantly takes it. I really want to hug him but he'd find that weird. He avoids looking at me. I sigh. "It's okay, Sirius. I'm not mad at you."

"I stabbed you."

"And I'm still alive, so all's forgiven. Plus, I shouldn't have moved."

"Why did you?"

"My back was hurting a bit. It's okay. Don't worry about it."

"What's wrong?" He asks. How did he know? "Your eyes are red. That probably means you were crying."

"Oh. Right. Well, I completely embarrassed myself yesterday because of a bad potion and now Professor Snape hates me. It was bad. But, I was crying because since my parents died, they expect me to go live with my Aunt and Uncle. My rich Aunt and Uncle who are the muggle version of the Malfoys."
