7 years later *May 1972, 14 years old.*

You, Daisy and a few other girls were parked around Hazzard Square selling Girl Scout cookies. The whole group had been working since 10am, and by the time 3 o'clock rolled around you hadn't even eaten lunch! You let Counsillor Parkinson know you were taking a break, and went off to buy some lunch with the money Mary had given you.

Since the square wasn't all that big, you decided to take the longest way possible to the grocer. Upon opening the door, you were greeted by the sound of windchimes and a man's voice. "Afternoon Jamie-Lynn!" an almost-bald grocer said. "Afternoon Eddie!"

You went upon your business quickly - anyone in Hazzard knew the grocer's place like the back of their hand. With the 5$ you had, you picked up a turkey sandwich, a carton of milk, and 2 apples. You knew Daisy would want one. And with the 2$ you had left, Mary could save for gardening supplies!

Eddie rang you up at the cash, asking how scout business was, how's Mary been, and how school was treating you. Once you left, you took the longest way possible back to your sale-spot. Halfway through the walk, you heard some boys laughing behind you. You didn't think much of it until.. "Hey look, another one!"

You whipped your head around and watched in horror as 2 junior boys were racing towards you. The only thing you could do was run! At full speed, sweat dotting your forehead, you realized that they were chasing you because you were a girl scout. Everybody knows that girl scouts don't snitch, and Lord only knows what they planned on doing to you..

Just as you were starting to slow down, you slid into the open street and skidded to a stop. Breathless, you couldn't even cry for help. Then, two grand arms grabbed yours. You flailed and kicked until the arms flew off. You turned around confused. 'Did I just do that?' you thought. But no, you turned around only to see a 15 year old shaggy blondie throwing the boys away from you. By the time their brawl was over, you'd caught your breath, the boys had ran off, and you were left with Bo.

"Jamie-Lynn, you alright?" he bent down to help pick up your lunch.

"Of course, you think I can't handle things myself?" you looked up, trying to hide your embarassment.

"No, I know you'd be fine if nobody'd turned up." he smirked and handed you your brown paper bag. "Sure you're okay?"

"For the last time Bo, I'm fine!...but thank you anyway. "

"Anything for you Lynn-Jamie." he patted your head and hummed as he walked away. You rolled your eyes at the stupid nickname, and got back to Daisy.
