20. SECRETS

Hi, lovelies! It's been a while since I updated. Exams are over but I still have online classes. I will still try to update if I have time. Thank you for being patient, evreyone!

After the meeting, I straightly went to the hospital and sit beside uncle. I hold his hand as I start talking to him.

"I really hope you'll wake up," I start, "I want you to meet ATEEZ because they are my friends now and they didn't make me feel alone, especially, San," I mutter, "though he irritates me sometimes because of his actions." I smile bitterly as I remember his recent actions. "He really gets on my nerves, uncle, and I wish you're here to scold him."

I chuckle then looked at my sleeping uncle. I lean closer and put my head beside his, "I really hope you're awake now so I can call you my uncle."

A tear fell from my eye when I closed my eyes. I widen my eyes when I saw his hand moving. I slowly sit up and look at him then back to his hand. It's moving!

"Cheonsa-ah," I gasped when he called me weakly while opening his eyes. "I'm awake, are you happy now?"

I gulped the lumped in my throat and nodded repeatedly, "wait here, I'll call the nurses." I give him a kiss on his forehead and rang the nurses.

"He's stable now, ma'am and he can leave the hospital by tomorrow."

"Thank you very much," I bowed to the doctor before he leaves.

Uncle and I are left alone again, and we didn't talk for a moment. We just stared at each other until he broke the silence.

"Why don't you call ATEEZ? I'm excited to meet them."

"Are you sure?" I stutter, "they can be a bit loud and you need to rest."

He chuckles weakly, "my dear, I already stayed with Wooyoung and Mingi. I can handle them just fine." I chuckled with him and agreed to call them.

Everyone is already resting after we cleaned our dinner. It's the first time for ATEEZ to have dinner with uncle and I'm glad uncle liked them. I'd be devastated if he wouldn't. They've decided to wait for uncle to leave the hospital and help us get home.

"San-ah," I feel my breath stopped when my uncle called him, "do you mind if you walk with me?"

San immediately agreed and went in front of him to help him stand up. Uncle groans quietly as he stands up.

"Are you sure, uncle? It's midnight and you just woke up."

"That's why I asked San to come with me," he gives me a smirk, "besides, I need to stretch my body. I feel weak if I'll just lay on that bed." I sighed and agreed since it's what he wants. "We'll be back."

I look at San and he's giving me a reassuring smile. I nod at him and watch their backs disappear when the door closed.

"Do you think they'll be fine?" I asked them.

"San is a demon; he can protect your uncle from any danger." Wooyoung answers but got hit by Hongjoong oppa, "idiot, that's not what she meant."

"San is a charmer; he'll be fine," Seonghwa oppa tells me when he approached me.

"But uncle is a hard person to please when it comes to men. He knows how to scare them away," I comment.

"I can see San getting nervous and scared with your uncle but," I turn to Yeosang when he stopped but he smirked and continued drinking his coffee.
