"Only keef!" (Baby Lance au.)

Laughs.

Keith is over the moon. One, he can speak to Lance. Two, Lance hasn't brought up any of the thoughts, and three, HE CAN SPEAK TO LANCE!

He has never been this excited in his whole entire existence and it's really doing stuff to him, he can't stop smiling and it has gotten the other paladins attention, especially Shiro, Shiro won't stop bugging him about what is making him so happy, matter of fact, he's doing it right now.

"Come on Keith! I'm like a big brother to you! I just wanna know what has gotten my emo boy smiling like he's in love!" Shiro says in an excited voice, like he's talking to a puppy. Keith blushes, knowing that Lance can hear this conversation because hello! Keith is thinking of the shit right now. 'Aww don't tell me Keith...' Keith flushes even more upon hearing Lances voice and starts shaking his hands rapidly infront of him, balancing the sleeping child in his arms. "Stop!" He says, hoping that Lance can hear it to. "I am not happy and i am most certainly not in love!" He crosses his arms and glares, though it looks more like a tomato pouting. "Keith... does this have something to do with lance?" Keith stops.

it's not like he doesn't trust Shiro, far beyond that actually, he knows he will believe him when he says that he can hear Lance, thinking it through last night it made sense. How little Lance only likes him, how little Lance won't leave him alone unless he is napping. It just made so much sense, but he knows that if he tells Shiro, he will know that his lovey dovey smile is all for Lance and his stupidness, and that scares him. What if Shiro didn't like that fact he liked boys, he couldn't live with himself if Shiro was ever disgusted in him. And even worse, what if Lance is disgusted! Keith would never want to be on the ship again! 

Keith feels and knows deep down though, that Shiro is kind of like him in ways, how his eyes linger a little to long on Matt or how he always seems shy whenever he is in a 100 metre radius of him. So now it's time to turn the tables. 

Keith lets a laid back smile fall onto his face as he leans forward, rocking the child in his arms to sleep. "So what if it does? I could say the same about you and Matt, awfully touchy today hmm?" Keith's mouth slips into and even wider smile as Shiro's cheeks dust pink and he rubs at the back of his head. "Matt? W-who's Matt, i don't know a Matt..." Keith laughs wholeheartedly, and then stops abruptly, he could of swore he heard Lance say something in the back off his head. "Wait." He held a hand out to Shiro, signalling him to close his mouth for a second. "What did you say?" Keith asked Lance, already noticing Shiro's confused face, he picks up his water bottle and takes a swig. 'Your laugh is so adorable..' You bet your ass that water flew straight out of his mouth, spraying all over Shiro's face. 

"Uhm..." Shiro breathes, kind of in awe Keith could say. "Do you mind telling me what's going on?" But Keith couldn't even look away from baby Lance, and then the rambling came. 'I-i mean, not that i like it or anything- wait not like that either but- but now it makes me seem like i like it- which i do, it's very nice, has anyone ever told you to laugh more? Or is it just me that believes you should?- Oh my god no no no your hearing all of this- ... I didn't mean to say that out loud...' Lance finishes, his voice on the cusp of whispering. Keith smiles. "It's okay, maybe i will laugh more." He finishes with a giggle, hearing a squeal in return. he looks up and sees Shiro looking at him with wide eyes. Keith sighs. "Let me tell you what's been going on."
