Bookworm- Kartini is used to being sandwiched between words and numbers. Her decoding speed is increased by 30% but will decrease bit by bit the closer she is to the hunter.

Hallucination- Kartini already can't distinguish fantasy from reality. She may experience hallucinations from time to time. This can range from seeing a teammate getting chaired or an un-decoded cipher and having an Impulse to decode it.

Backstory: Kartini has been a shut in for most of her childhood. In that way was that she was never out on her own, she only went out with her parents. Her mother was an artist but sadly died due to complications with her age (her parents did have quite the age gap). The more she became older the more isolated she became. this is all thanks to the influence of one man. her father, and a writer himself, Elijah Lennox.

Elijah always stayed by Kartini's side. He was a quirky man and always sent notes and letters to his daughter. those once nice notes soon turned fake when Kartini became a writer. A little known fact about Elijah he WAS a writer himself. keyword: WAS. Due to some unknown complications, his reputation began to plummet and soon he stopped writing. He was already peculiar man and thought that if he published the work under his name, he'd get his name back up and present his daughters work. Oh how this backfired.

It backfired so hard that Elijah kept Kartini inside for longer than he would've liked. With this, Kartini became well acquainted with her gifted imagination. she could see things others couldn't. She also slept a lot and became very used to her dreams. Though days prior to going to the Manor, she had reoccurring dreams all about the same thing.

That train...the snow...that tall figure...It became a small quest of Kartini's to find out who that figure is. Because people In your dreams are bound to be linked to the people in real life. But if it's not her father...who is it?

One night, Kartini got a mysterious letter addressed to her. The letter explained a game that had the promise of lifetime fortune if she were to win. She accepted, not for the money, but the inspiration. After following the needed steps, she was on the night train to oletus manor.

Rumor: A strange looking writer came to the manor for inspiration. She doesn't seem scared of the hunters, she's much scared of the monsters in her head.
