Charles looked at the landscape outside the apartment. In all honesty, whatever he did, he would probably get bored.

"If its not a bother—" Charles released his grip from Henry, "It looks like a pretty good day today. Maybe we could go outside...?"

Henry shook his head, and lead Charles to the front door. "Its not a bother!"

Henry watched his boyfriends eyes sparkle as he ran out of the apartment. Henry slipped on the closest shoes he had before rushing out to follow behind. Charles was walking alot faster than walking pace, but Henry was still able to catch up to him.

The two made their way downstairs to the ground floor, which seemed rather crowded. The apartment building mainly only housed people who preferred to live alone, due to how small the apartments were. Also, a large amount of them were either introverted or antisocial from what Henry had gathered throughout the time he lived in the complex

So a large amount of people crowded around each other in the lobby seemed rather odd. From the conversation the two heard, they were all gathered for a reason. Maybe to talk to the owner of the complex?

Charles took hold of Henry to lead him outside, releasing said grip when they made it. The temperature was higher than expected, but high enough to tolerate, and not melt into the ground. (A/N. Any hoodies or jumpers were removed and tied around either the waist or shoulders. I'm too tired to look back to see if either of them are wearing a hoodie/jumper.) This could have been due to the fact a few clouds were covering the sun. Clouds block heat, after all.

Charles indicated the path to their left, then began to skip down the street. Henry walked on Charles' left hand side, watching as he admired all the buildings and stores down the road.

"This street is so pretty!" Charles exclaimed, with a bright smile Henry knows and loves glued to his face. Charles has always been the type of guy to smile for and after everything, regardless of the situation. As much as Henry knows, Charles is just a happy ball of sunshine that deserves nothing less than the whole world. And Henry's willing to give that to him.

"I guess you're right." Henry shrugged. He never really had the time to take a closer look at the town he lived in, he just passed by without a second thought. But Charles was right. The more he looked at it, the prettier it looked. "Let me know if anything looks interesting."

Charles nodded, then kept walking down the street. He shoved his hands into his pockets, looking through some of the store windows and at the items they showcased.

There was a brief silence, before a thought struck in Henry's mind.

He overtook Charles, then turned his body, walking backwards. "I have somewhere I want to show you. Follow me, okay?"

Charles looked confused, but complied the request. Henry lead Charles through a small alley, which in retrospect, would be rather suspicious. But to Charles, it wasn't. He trusted Henry wouldn't take him down an alley to get mugged.

The alleyway lead outside to a park, bordered by a small black fence. Henry skipped over, followed closely behind by Charles.

"This is cool!" Charles looked up at the biggest tree, which was a few times bigger than his height.

Henry giggled, unlocking the park gate to walk in. Charles walked in afterwards, then proceeded to wander around the area surrounding them, "Is your whole town this pretty?"
"Why do you seem to happy about it?" Henry questioned.
"I just like to look at beautiful things, I guess." Charles shrugged, then gave a gasp of realisation, "Maybe thats why I like looking at you so much!"
Charles skipped further into the park after finishing his sentence. Henry stood in place for a few seconds before chasing after him.

Around two hours passed of Charles and Henry being the lovebirds that they are, before it began to start raining. The rain wasn't that heavy, but was rather loud when colliding with a surface. Henry took cover underneath the trees, but Charles on the other hand, remained right in the open, letting the rain soak through his clothing.
Henry stared at the smaller boy, who kicked at a small forming puddle. Charles attention quickly changed to Henry, like he knew he was being looked at.
"Awh, cmon henry!" Charles rushed over to Henry, and took both Henry's hands in his, "Its just rain! Don't cower away from it!"
Charles pulled the both of them out from under the tree, and to the centre of the park. By that time, all the people who were in the park had already gone to seek shelter somewhere else. It was just them two, alone.
"Charles, we're gunna get wet-" Henry protested, yet Charles found a positive way to turn what he said.
"We're gunna get wet anyways!" Charles stepped away, "Live a little!"
The taller boy rolled his eyes playfully, "fine. But if I catch a cold its your fault."
"Alright!" Charles nodded at his possible responsibility.
"What is there to even do in the rain.." Henry inquired. Charles thought momentarily, then looked up, his eyes sparkling.
"Dance with me! It'll be fun, I promise!"
"Charles, theres not even any music...-" Henry stated,  skeptical of the idea.
"Who cares? We don't need any music!" Charles bounced, happiness shining through him. Henry caved into Charles smiling, and rather adorable, face.
"Fine." Henry approached Charles, and placed his hands on the small boy's hips. Charles' mind short-circuited, his arms securely wrapping themselves around Henry. He gazed upon his boyfriend, who brought their bodies together to the point they almost touched.

The two slowly swayed around, their synchronised movements keeping them close together. Close enough to hear the breathing and faint giggling of the other. Close enough for the scent of their boyfriend to fill their senses.
It was like they were merged as one. They both so peaceful, and by their expressions, they looked as if they were enjoying the moment. Henry twirled charles around, dipping him after he twirled a full 360°. Henry leaned down to be closer to him, their eyes locking.
Henry smiled gently, then leaned further down to kiss Charles' lips.

Its too late for me to finish this, but fun fact that my friend suggested the kissing thing.
We talked a bit about the future of the story and theres some ideas planned involving Ellie, Mia, and Henry.
