What is in the box?

Levi took her waist with one hand and the back of her head with the other and they kissed a deep passionate kiss that made Hanji blush...and surprisingly Levi too. "I love you" he whispered in her ear when they broke apart for air. "I love you too, shorty" she told him. "Now! Open the present!" She said jumping up and down like a little kid. "What's inside it?" He asked her with a worried face, hoping that the thing inside the present wouldn't jump out onto him.
"Well you will find out when you open it".
Levi looked at Hanji with his usual cold expression but she knew in his eyes that he was excited. Levi took the box from his desk to his lap, he hesitated but opened it slowly. When the top of the box was finally open, Levi's eyes grew wide and Hanji got nervous and her hands started shaking again. "So what do you think?" Hanji askes.

Levi opens his mouth to speak. "You remembered" Levi says in a whisper that Hanji could barely hear.
Levi takes out of the green box a book. The book was obviously made by Hanji because it was as crazy as her. It had sparkles, buttons, ribbons everywhere, but what Levi liked the most was the blue butterfly in the middle.

After a long period of silence that Levi just stared at the cover of the book, Hanji got impatient "well open it already" she blurs out. When Levi opens the book Hanji could of swore that she saw his eyes tearing up. Inside the book were pictures, but not just any pictures, these pictures were special to them especially Levi. The pictures were about everything they have ever done together, objects they ever found together, even special leaves that Hanji found from expeditions that they went on.

"Levi look at all these cool things that I found!" Hanji said with her 5 year old voice. "Tsk, disgusting. How can you pick that up from the ground, your hands are all dirty now." Levi said coldly. "Come on Levi, lighten up. All I found were some leaves, flowers and dead bugs." Hanji simply says like there was nothing wrong. "BUGS!!!" Levi yells. "YOU BETTER NOT TOUCH ME WITH YOUR FILTHY HANDS OR YOUR DEAD FOUR EYES!" Levi screams and backs far away from Hanji. "But I picked these up for you" Hanji says and Levi could tell that there was a little sadness in her voice for possibly the first time. "I'm sorry Hanji" Levi said after feeling bad for yelling at her like that. "I'll tell you what, only when you put all those special things that you found for me inside a book where I don't have to touch them to look at them then I will except the gift." Even though it was cold of him, it was Levi so what more could you expect? Hanji had the biggest smile on her face. "DEAL! I promise I'll make you that book one day!" She says and hugs him.

After a few hours of them playing around and talking they sit down beside a tree to rest. "Have you ever seen a blue butterfly?" She askes, after watching a small white butterfly pass by. Levi rolls his eyes. "No, and I bet they don't exist, four eyes." He says in a harsh tone. "What if they do exist but just outside the walls" she tells him with a curious expression in her face. "Well I wouldn't know because I've never been outside the walls dummy"Levi says. "Well one day I want to join the survey corps and go outside the walls just to discover the new worlds" she said with so much excitement in her voice that Levi could feel it. "Well I'll join with you so I'll protect you and you won't die an early death." Levi says. "I can take care of myself shorty for your information." Hanji states. "But thanks anyway"Hanji smiles. "Your welcome four eyes. And I'm not short, your just too tall for your age!" Levi says angerly. "Yah me and every other kid my age!" Hanji says and she starts laughing.

"So, did you like it?" Hanji askes, a bit hesitant. Levi looks up from the book and Hanji could see a tear run down his cheek. "How did you remember?" He askes her in a low voice like he still couldn't believe his eyes. "That's easy, I never forgot." Hanji simply said with a smile. Levi looked at Hanji like she was the most beautiful thing in the world. "Hanji how could you be more perfect?" Levi asked, not expecting her to answer. Before she could say anything Levi had picked her up bridal style and and started kissing her lovingly and was bringing her inside his room which was surprisingly beside his office.
