Chapter 9

Alyona

After packing all of our stuff and loading it into the SUV, we sat our goodbyes to the pack and it's alpha and we take off on our road trip towards our own pack. Teagan was excited to meet his older brother and I was honestly nervous to go back home. I haven't been back in 5 years and now I have to go back and fix the pack territory.

The pack nanny over there was a young women named Beatrice. She was a nice and gentle person who took care of the pups while the parents either worked or trained and I knew Teagan would love her. Toman and I took turns driving to our pack since it was a half week drive. But by the time we got there to the front gate of our pack. It was almost 7 am in the morning. Teagan of course was knocked out and the guards recognized Toman and immediately opened the gate letting us in.

Toman had previously texted Bryson or my dad that we was close. As we drive toward the pack house where everyone was waiting for us. I was looking at the pack remodeling, it looked the same but it felt old and decrepit some how. As we park out SUV, Bryson and his Luna and my family came out to greet us. I purposely left Teagan in the car since he was still sleeping but I didn't trust these people around him.

"Father, Alyona hello. Welcome home" Bryson said hugging his father. I stood there ignoring him and looking at Trisha who was a balloon, she was full on pregnant and maybe ready to pop any time. I nodded to both of them and they nodded back. I looked to my family. My parents and brother and his mate. They looked at me like there expected me to come running and hug them. They were wrong. "Where are we staying?" I asked "with us at the house" Bryson answered and I nodded "Teagan?" He asked "sleeping in the car" I said causal.

"Can we meet him when he wakes up?" My mother asked and I looked to her and my father who looked actually happy to see me "I don't want his bad omen to affect you" I said sarcastically and there smiles dropped and my father looked ashamed. Toman put a hand on my shoulder and it instantly calmed me down "It's nice to see you sis, you've grown up so much" my brother said and I scoffed " Pregnancy does that to you. Makes all the extra pop out sometimes" I said rolling my eyes. He looked down and his mate rubbed his back comforting him.

What did these people expect? Me to be nice to them? After everything that happened to me. I hated the sight of all these people. And I couldn't care less if they wanted my forgiveness, they weren't getting it anytime soon. Bryson lead us to house, other packs members brought our things as we walk and Teagan was being carried by Toman. We went and put Teagan down and wait for him to wake as we did Toman and I settle into our room and laid down. We was both tired from the traveling and driving.

After a few hours later I woke to giggling coming from down stairs and I knew my little pup was up. Toman was also missing and I stretch and went downstairs to find Toman and both of his sons and Trisha in the kitchen making a snack. Teagan saw me and ran up to me "mommy mommy!!" "Hey baby? How was your nap?" "To long" we all laughed. Toman gave Teagan a sandwich and made me one as well. We are together Bryson and Trisha are with us.

"So how many injuries?" I asked after we was done eating "a lot, the ambush came out of no where" Bryson said "casualties?" "None actually. But couple of people are missing, some members saw people being picked up and being taken back into the front where the came out from" he said and Toman and I looked at each other. "How many so far?" "8, mostly young kids" Trisha said. We was shocked "this is weird thing for a rogue to do" Toman said.

I kept feeling like someone was watching as I tended to my son and I turned to find Bryson leaning against the door frame. "Your so beautiful" "I'm aware why you here?" I asked him. Shouldn't he be with Trisha right now. Toman went to go talk to my father about about some stuff and I was putting Teagan down for sleep for tonight. I shut the door and walk toward my room when Bryson grabs my hand and stopped me, I hissed and ripped my hand from his hand "what the hell you doing?" "I want you Alyona" I looked at him like he was stupid. "Fuck off, you had your chance and blow it for miss blonde whale so no" he sighed and ran his finger throw his hair "I regret that so much, after you left I was a mess. I tried to keep strong but I couldn't stop thing about you." He said.

"That's my fault how?" I narrowed my eyes and crossed my arms. "I've made my mistake Alyona and I'm regretting it badly. Please give me another change, I wanna be with you" I starting laughing "I'm happy with your father and I'm not breaking my family for you Bryson. I love your father. He's the best thing that's happened to me and I'm kinda glad you rejected me I got something even better out of it" I said in his face. He looked shocked and hurt, I didn't care or feel bad for my words. Freya was proud of me and proud that I stood up for myself and Toman relationship.

I was so lost in thought I didn't realize until late that Bryson put both hands on my neck and started to strangle me, I was shocked and was choking for air. He was an alpha I didn't have the strength to fight him much so I did the best I could and tried to hit his face. The hall of sudden he was ripped from me and I finally had air going down my throat and into my lungs. I coughed hard and was gasping. I looked up and saw Toman holding Bryson by the throat and my father and Trisha trying to hold Toman back.

"Toman stop, you'll kill him" Daniel said and Trisha was crying trying to get to Bryson who was struggling against his father. I was dizzy and I waddled over there and put my hands on Toman arm and the spark must of brought him back because he looked at me and let Bryson go and held me like his life depended on it. Bryson was now gasping for air to go down to his own lungs as Trisha comforted him. "How dare you put your hands on my mate Bryson?" He growled and I laid my head looking at Bryson and Trisha "I'm sorry father, I don't know what happens." He said still panting.

"Maybe she started it" Trisha sneered at me and Toman looked at her "she didn't start anything, it was your mate that was trying to get back with her and she refused so he tried to kill her" Toman said and Trisha looked shocked and looked at Bryson who looked guilty. "Yes son, I heard everything and so did Daniel. You decided to confess how you feel and not care who is around either" I told my son who looked stupid. "I'm sorry father" "you should say sorry to Alyona. Your almost killed her" grunted in anger. "I'm sorry Alyona, I didn't mean to hurt you" he said. I let go of Toman and went to Bryson and slapped him with all my might. "Your forgive fool" and I backed away from him and back into Toman arms. I just wanted to sleep now. My throat was hurting and was bruising now. Hopefully Tomorrow would be a better day.
