I can't not believe Bryson rejected his own mate for that blonde brat, she was so annoying and he loves her? Yeah right. It's all just lust even I can see that. When his mother died I died too, but I did my best to make sure Bryson had everything he needed. I made him train hard and make sure he did good in school and even learn everyone name in the pack.

I told him how important it is to have a mate and when he is to find his he is to love her unconditionally but I guess that part didn't get through to his head. I was walking hand in hand with Alyona and she looked extremely nervous. When I first saw her in the crowd she was looking down and smelled her scent it was peaches and vanilla. It was so intoxicating and I couldn't pin point until I finally escape the ceremony and followed it into forest and saw her sitting in the moon light.

She was so beautiful and young and my wolf howled in peace finally getting a mate after almost a decade of being mateless. I knew my wolf Zeus was already connecting with her wolf that's named Freya. He was already in love and I was to kinda. She warmed me where I was dead cold, I walked back to my house and I mind link Bryson to come outside immediately and he was tumbling out of the houses putting his shirt on and he smelled of the brat girl.

"Bryson, do you know who she is?" I point to Alyona and he looked scared and nodded "That's Brennan little sister" I nodded "Yes, she is. So you guys are mate and you rejected her right?" Bryson looked extremely nervous "Yes sir I did." He replied "So you rejected her because you love that blonde brat and she not Luna material right?" "Yes sir" "how shameful, your mother would be ashamed of this moment for hurting this girl." He looked like he wanted to cry.

I kept yelling at him and degrading him and he stood there listening to me without replying, eventually Trisha came out and held on to Bryson and tried to defend him "I would think twice before interrupting me little girl" I said sarcastically and she looked like she almost peed her pants. After I got my full of yelling at Bryson, I looked back at Alyona because she had been quiet this whole time and she looked back at me, "Bryson, do you believe in second chance mates?" "I don't know sir" "I didn't at first but I do now." I said looking at Alyona and Bryson looked between us confused.

"Alyona is no longer just Brennan little sister now, I want to introduce my second chance mate Alyona, your new step mother" I said smiling and wrapping my arms around Alyona. Bryson and Trisha looked like the saw the devil himself. "What? My ex mate is your second chance mate?" I nodded. "Yes you heard correctly, she will be leaving with me to go help another pack. Tomorrow I will announce her to the packed and we will go after that" I said and I didn't wait for him to say anything, just looking at him made me wanna beat his ass.

We then walked toward Alyona house and her parents came out with her brother, they sneer at her "Alyona where have you been?" Her mother said angrily "She was with me Veranda?" "Oh alpha Toman I hope she wasn't to much trouble?" She said to me and I shake my head "No but I'm glad you all are out here." "Toman? Something happen?" Daniel her father asked "Yes actually, apparently Alyona and I are second chance mates" they all gasped "wow two rejections in two week, how dumb" Brennan laughed at her and Alyona teared up.

I growled loud shutting him up Immediately "Who said I rejected her?" They looked at me shocked "but she only 18 and your Bryson father her really mate father" Daniel said " I know who I am Daniel. But this what the moon goddess wanted and I'm not gonna fight anything. I just came to tell you what's going on." I said sarcastically. Daniel and veranda looked at each other and Daniel said "She not worth your time Toman, just reject her and leave her be" Alyona whimper at her fathers comment and that made my heart hurt that grab Daniel by the throat.

"Watch what you say? Who the hell are you to tell me what to do? Why would you say that to your own daughter?" I said as he choked for air and I felt Alyona grab my arm and instantly I was calm and I let her father go. "Your my best friend Daniel, honestly I thought you would be happy for me? And your daughter?" I said And Daniel regain his bearings "Of course I am, but she just a bad omen Toman" he sighed "I don't care she my mate and I will love her unconditionally like Bryson was suppose to." I said back.

Alyona just stayed quiet and was kinda crying, I wiped her tears and helped her inside to her room. I shut her door and sat on her small bed and she sat on my laps and hugs me "Don't worry love, I'll protect now and forever" "I know and I'm glad I have you Toman." She said as she quietly falls asleep. I tucked her in and let her sleep. As I walked back down, her family stared at me and I was getting irritated "What do you want?" They all stop staring.

"Daniel, Tomorrow I will announce Alyona as my mate and I will also be leaving to go help Snow lake pack for a while and Alyona will be coming with me. Mind link Everyone to come to the pack house in the morning" I said as I walked out "oh and if anything happens to Alyona while I'm not here till morning, no will escape my wrath in the house" i finally said and left.
