(A prologue or prolog is an opening to a story that establishes the context and gives background details, often some earlier story that ties into the main one, and other miscellaneous information. The Ancient Greek prólogos included the modern meaning of prologue, but was of wider significance, more like the meaning of preface.)

The prompt is, George and Dream have been dating for a while now. They were madly in love with one another. But one day Dream gets drafted and has to go serve for his country, in some third world country. He promises George every day he will be back. But sadly Dream gets shot and killed when he was serving. George knew he was dead. He knew the love of his life was gone and he couldn't do anything about it. Sapnap and George's family try to convince him to move on, but George can't bring himself to move on from Dream. George couldn't believe the fact that Dream was dead, he just couldn't. Until one day someone arrives at his front door, which he wasn't expecting. Just in case you forgot. I will put this at the beginning of each chapter.

If you came from my one-shots, you don't have to read this if you don't want to lol. If you didn't, you might want to read this. This is a short thing, most of mine are usually about one thousand words to two thousand words or more. This one is about one thousand words.

Hi, welcome this is a safe place for you to be yourself and love who you are. So I hope you have slept well, eaten enough today, staying hydrated, and getting enough time outside. Third-person

George and Dream have been dating for some time now. They live together in a two-story house, with Dream's cat patches. George is twenty-three years old and Dream is twenty-one years old. They are one of the happiest couples there ever was. Dream and George met at a park twelve years ago, when Dream was nine years old and George was eleven years of age. George was always treated differently because of his accent, his height, and his looks. The boys his age would always taunt him or make fun of him, because of his accent. Or they would say "You can't hang out with us because you are too pretty to be a boy," They would make fun of him for things he couldn't control. (The average height for an eleven-year-old boy is 4"7 (I don't know what that is in inches or centimeters)). George was one day sat on the swings, sulking about life, when a taller boy came up to him. The boy looked to be a few years older than him. The two instantly clicked. Turns out the boy's name was Dream and the kids his age didn't like him because he was tall and he looked older. The two of them stayed best friends up until high school. Dream had skipped two grades so he was known in George's grade. Of course, everyone liked Dream, but nobody liked George. All the girls would flirt with Dream and then hate on George because George always had Dreams attention. But Dream would never listen to the girls, he was always so interested in what his short best friend was doing. But they didn't stay best friends forever. One day Dream had to tell George something. Dream walked into school and looked around for his best friend. They were now in their senior year of high school and prom was coming up. "George! I have something important to tell you," Dream said as he looked down at the smaller boy. George's face went pale. He was thinking of the worst possible outcomes. "Um, what is it?" George asked in a shy tone of voice. "I think we shouldn't be friends anymore," Dream said in a sad tone of voice. "What? Why?" George asked frantically. "I want you to be my date for prom and my boyfriend," Dream said with his signature grin. George grew very hot and he felt like fainting. For as long as he could remember he had a not so small crush on Dream. "Well?" Dream asked in a playful tone of voice. "Yes! Yes, one thousand times!" George said as he jumped into Dreams arms. Dream laughed a spun him around. And just like that, their everlasting bond had increased and they were now the most iconic duo in the school. Of course, they were a few jealous people. Mostly cheerleaders, who wanted Dream all to themselves. But Dream nor George ever cared. Dream loved to make George blush in public or just show him affection. George didn't care that much, he did like the attention. The two stayed together all threw out their last year at high school. Most couples would break it off after high school, but Dream and George didn't. They have been together ever since that day. And now we are here. Dream got drafted to serve his country. "Please stay safe honey," George says as he doesn't let go of Dream. "Come on Bubbles, I have to go. I will be back I promise (take note of this statement, it appears a lot)," Dream said with a smile. "Okay bye baby," George said with a smile as tears ran down his face. And just like that, Dream saluted to George and George saluted back, and then Dream left. Little did George know that would be the last time he saw his boyfriend in real life, ever.

And that's where the actual story begins, so I hope you enjoy this backstory and a little preview of what's to come. If your new this is also how I write, so I hope you enjoyed it, have a wonderful day!
