Come Back To Me (The Book)

First Chapter

This is the first chapter of this short story, I hope you enjoy it. The prompt is, George and Dream have been dating for a while now. They were madly in love with one another. But one day Dream gets drafted and has to go serve for his country, in some third world country. He promises George every day he will be back. But sadly Dream gets shot and killed when he was serving. George knew he was dead. He knew the love of his life was gone and he couldn't do anything about it. Sapnap and George's family try to convince him to move on, but George can't bring himself to move on from Dream. George couldn't believe the fact that Dream was dead, he just couldn't. Until one day someone arrives at his front door, which he wasn't expecting. Just in case you forgot. I will put this at the beginning of each chapter.

Third-person

It had been a couple of months since George had seen his boyfriend. And he was missing him dearly. George was sitting on Dreams chair in their shared office. George has his chair, but Dreams was more comfortable. George had one of Dreams hoodies on and he was watching Netflix and eats chocolate. George was missing his boyfriend more than anything. The only thing he had left of his boyfriend was Patches, his cat, all of his boyfriend's clothes, and his boyfriend's cologne. A few tears slipped from his eyes as he finished his eighth box of chocolate that morning. George's crying session was interrupted by the door opening and patches meowing. George wiped his tears and got up from his comfortable resting place. "Shit (bad word)! I am sorry baby, I forgot to feed you this morning," George says picking up his boyfriend's cat. George clicks the space bar on his computer and Netflix pauses. George pushes in his boyfriend's chair and gets up and walks out of their shared office. George walks out into the hallway and then walks down the stairs. George goes into the kitchen and places patches down on the counter. George goes over to her food cabinet and bends down to grab her a can of the fancy feast (Fancy Feast is a brand of gourmet cat food from Nestlé Purina PetCare. Introduced by the Carnation Company in 1982, it was originally offered in seven flavors of wet food). Patches meows in delight. George gets a knife and opens the can of cat food. George puts her bowl on the counter and puts the food in the bowl. George walks to the fridge and opens it up. George pulls out a bottle of water and takes a quick drink of it. George waits for the cat to finish eating her food. "Meow," Patches says as she nudges against George's leg. "Come on, let's go back upstairs," George says to the feline (Felidae is a family of mammals in the order Carnivora, colloquially referred to as cats, and constitutes a clade. A member of this family is also called a felid. The term "cat" refers both to felids in general and specifically to the domestic cat. Felidae species exhibit the most diverse fur pattern of all terrestrial carnivores. Cats have retractile claws, slender muscular bodies, and strong flexible forelimbs. Their teeth and facial muscles allow for a powerful bite). George walks out of the kitchen and down the hall. Patches were following his every move. George walks up the stairs and into Dream and his shared office. Patches light paw steps (it is like footsteps, but patches doesn't have feet. She has paws lol)following him into the room. George closes the door once patches walks in. George sits down in Dreams chair and patches jumps in his lap. "Aw, you little cutie," George says as he pets patches head. Out of the corner of his eyes, George sees Skype (Skype is a telecommunications application that specializes in providing video chat and voice calls between computers, tablets, mobile devices, the Xbox One console, and smartwatches over the Internet. Skype also provides instant messaging services. Users may transmit text, video, audio, and images. Skype allows video conference calls. At the end of 2010, there were over 660 million worldwide users, with over 300 million estimated active each month as of August 2015) going off on his other monitor. George quickly answers the skype call and says "Hi!" "Hi bubbles, how have you been?" Dream said with a smile. "Good how have you been?" George said with a smile. The biggest smile he had, had in months. "Eh, same old, same old. The military is boring. The food tastes horrible and I miss you," Dream said with a smile. George blushed. "I miss you too and so does patches," George said holding up the cat to the computer. Dream laughed. "Well tell her I miss her too," Dream said with a smile. "Did you hear that kitty? Daddy misses you," George said to the cute cat. Patches just meows. "Aww," Dream said with a grin. He missed his boyfriend and his cat a lot. The two sat in silence for a bit, just enjoying each other's presence. "Oh, George!" Dream says, remembering what he was going to say. "Yes?" George says looking up at the camera. "The boss said one more mission and then we can all come home," Dream says with a large grin. "Your coming home?!" George says excitedly. "Yep! I will be home one Wednesday," Dream said with a smile. "Oh my, are you sure?" George said, trying to contain his excitement. "Yes, I promise," Dream says with a smirk. "The boss is calling us, by honey. I love you. See you on Wednesday," Dream said with a smile. "Bye, bye," George said as he waved at the camera. Little did he know, that was the last conversation he would have with his boyfriend ever. The call ends and George gets up and goes right to cleaning. He had to prepare. His boyfriend was finally coming home after three whole years. George had the right to be excited.

George had woken up early to clean some more. He wanted the place spotless for when Dream came home. The house was already clean, but George wanted it very clean. He wanted everything to shine for when his boyfriend was coming home. He heard a quick knock on the door and he ran to the door. George unlocks the door and then he opens the door with excitement, but that was all gone when he saw two men standing there. None of them being his boyfriend. "Um, hi?" George says confused. The two men in army suits just stood there with unreadable faces. "Does Clay Was Taken live here?" The taller out of the two guys asked. "Uh, yes, he is my boyfriend why?" George asked. "Well, we have something to tell you," The other guy said. "And that is?" George asked with confusion and worry in his voice.
