Chapter 1: Scared and Safe

It was a regular Monday and Kari was thinking of what her true love looked and his personality. He had blonde hair, blue eyes, and was her age. The picture of her best friend popped into her mind as she was describing her true love. 'Could it possibly be him?' thought Kari. Just then TK snapped her out of her thoughts.

"What's up, Kari?" said TK.
"Huh, oh, I was just thinking about stuff," said Kari.
"What kind of stuff?"
"Nothing important."

Kari is 12 years old, brunette, and cinnamon colour eyes. TK is 12, blonde hair, and blue eyes.

It was winter break and the digi-destined had a meeting. TK and Kari walked over to rest of the dds. Tai, Matt, Mimi, Joe, Izzy, Sora, Davis, Ken, Yolie, and Cody all waited for TK and Kari to come. "Kari, are you warm enough?" asked Davis.
"Yeah, I'm warm enough," replied Kari.
"Called you all here because something terrible happened in the Digital World," said their leader, Tai.
"What happened?" asked Matt.
"Are our digimon okay?" asked Sora.
"Yesterday I went to the Digital World, our digimon are safe, but there is an old threat. Gemini told me that an old threat had returned and then he gave me these," Tai held out the crests. Hope, light, love, sincerity, courage, reliability, friendship, and knowledge. The old dds looked so happy, but the new dds just looked confused. TK took hope, Kari took light, Sora took love, Tai took courage, Matt took friendship, Joe took reliability, Mimi took sincerity, and Izzy took knowledge.
"We finally have our crests back," said TK.
"Where is my crest?" asked Davis, kinda jealous because TK got one and Davis didn't.
"You aren't supposed to get one," said Tai.
"Why not?" asked Davis, still jealous.
"Because you don't have a crest," said Tai.

"So Tai, who's the threat?" said TK.
"Weird you asked TK because it is Neodevimon," replied Tai. TK froze. His heart sank. He couldn't move. All he did was stare and remember the memories of Angemon disappearing because he tried to save TK. Everyone started to stared at TK.
"Why is everyone staring at TK?" asked Davis.
"You see Davis TK had bad history with Devimon," said Matt.
"We need to defeat him again," said TK, angrier than usual.
"Izzy, did you bring your computer?" asked TK. "Yes."
Izzy knew what TK was thinking and opened a gate to the Digital World.
All of the dds got transported to the Digital World.
