Chapter 1

Long, long ago, before the recorded history of men...

They evolved their way into existence here on Earth. They could only live at night as the sun would vanquish them, so they lived below ground.

They lived many moons by feeding on animals and plants for their energy, and primitive humans feared them as gods and demons. Few of them died, so they had little need to reproduce, and this their population was small. They knew not conflict and lived in peace.

It was then a genius was born. He wanted great power. He learned that there was laten power within their brains, and in order to draw it out... The genius created a stone mask.

Kars alone couldn't create such a thing. In order to create and obtain the mystical power from his creation he needed someone to supply him with what he needed, and who better could it be than the royal herself, Rhapsody.

Amazed by the results of his first experimentation with the mask on himself, she soulfully wished this power among her people so they can walk under the sun and bask in it's warmth and life as Kars promised would happen.

The stone mask granted not just power but immortality as well, yet... with such device there required more life energy to sustain it. Kars had killed, and if left to his devices, he might not have anything left behind.

However these beings(Aztec beings) feared the stone mask and it's creator!

"His existence is a danger to us!"

"Princess Rhapsody has betrayed our people! She dare help that monster!"

"We must erase him from this earth!"

"The princess must be punished!"

"We must kill them both!"

"Fools! Do you not wish to conquer the sun along with using the princess's help?! Do you not wish to rule over all? Do you not wish to be afraid of nothing?!" Kars yelled among his people clearly oblivious to their fears.

"This can make our people stronger and live in peace with the sun! The sun won't be our enemy as it is our creation! We can live forever with the sun! Do you not wish to join us?" Rhapsody added in defense of Kars desperate for the ongoing life of her people.

The whole tribe of Aztec beings began war by the order of vote among the royals and community to eliminate Kars along with Rhapsody.

Kars and Rhapsody fought with all of their might. Kars sparing no hesitation killing them off.

"Please! My people!! I do not wish for this to happen!!"

"Princess Rhapsody! A traitor!" Many chanted as they began to overpower her.

"B-But my people...!" Rhapsody breathed heavily in fear and desperation for them to understand.

"Kill or be killed?!" Kars reminded Rhapsody as he slashed against the many with his own blades.

With no other options... The genius and princess ended up slaughtering their entire tribe, including their parents, and took one comrade alone (Esidisi) on the long journey.

With only the three, they all came to the idea that the princess give birth to one son from both men. Expand in numbers. Taking time to decide on this, she birthed the two sons. Wamuu as the oldest by 2,000 years from Santana.

Wamuu became a warrior and Santana was tasked as a guard dog for an ancient underground temple with vast space along with carvings and hundreds of stone masks hanging on every wall leaving Santana behind from his Masters unaware of the relation between he and Wamuu to even Rhapsody herself.
