Chapter 15

Rhapsody remained in the throne room when she came back from the walk with Kars, her doubt swelling her inside. She stood up and sighed in relief when she saw Kars walk into the room empty handed.

'I see that JoJo was able to keep it from Kars.'. "So, where is the Red stone of Aja?" She questioned him watching his every move.

"I let JoJo keep the Red stone of Aja, for now." He said as he walked farther away.

'JoJo, thank goodness Kars left you alive.' She relaxed for a brief second before she glared ahead. 'Kars let him keep it... What is he planning?'

//Time skip//

Rhapsody walked down the stairs and tensed at the smell of blood... Caesar's blood and Wammu's own blood.

"Wamuu? What has happened here?!" She saw Wamuu and his injuries. "You're hurt, my son!" Rhapsody held her hands to her mouth as she looked at the debris, blood, and Caesar bleeding to death holding a crimson bubble with Wamuu's lip ring attached to Caesar's bandana.

"Mother, leave him be. I will be taking my leave to Master Kars." His words were deaf to her ears as he left the room.

She walked towards Caesar with a pained expression. She also noticed one of their instructors that was in the room on top of a table alive but hurt. She just left him rest and continued her path towards Caesar.

"Caesar, do you wish anything before the mercy of death?" Rhapsody kneeled down and held him in her arms as she cleared the blood from his face not caring about the blood staining her.

He looked at her with his half-lidded emerald green eyes as he met her violet blue ones. "Messiah Rhapsody, may I confess something...?" He said in a pained voice.

"Anything, Caesar."

He reached his hand to her face and pulled her to a gentle kiss. "I've got to confess... I've fallen heavily in love with you, Messiah. Even in these short instances, that I cherish, do I feel your grace and warmth... Please, help that idiot JoJo survive and defeat them all!"

Rhapsody held his hand and leaned her cheek in to it. "Oh, Caesar, I wish things couldn't end like this. I will find a way to help JoJo for you. I swear it on my own life."

"Thank you, ... Messiah."

She kissed his forehead, as she held him in his final moments. Once he had passed, she laid him and closed his eyes. She lifted the hamon bubble, even with the hamon burning her hands, she guided it's path towards where Joseph's steps echoed across the castle. Rubble began to fall, a large rock shaped as a holy cross fell on Caesar's body, sunlight shimmering through the room as the dust began to settle. 'Maybe in another time, another life, they all will have their happily ever afters... Everyone alive and the battles fought with victory always coming from the goodness of their heart.'

She teared up and placed a hand on the makeshift tomb. She left the room before Joseph and Lisa Lisa would enter the room, but before she would leave, she kneeled down and left a small kiss on Caesar's grave. 'I will carry your request to the very end.' She vanished into the darkness as the two walked in.

Lisa Lisa and Joseph walked in to assist Caesar after he got into a argument with JoJo as well as Messina, who went to accompany him. They walked towards the pillar men's hideout where they had heard yelling as well as a long moment of silence afterwards.

"This level of destruction! No doubt, it was Wamuu's divine sandstorm! And that was definitely Caesar's Voice! A-And If Caesar was hit by his divine sandstorm, then..." Joseph said waving his hand to push away any rubble.

Lisa Lisa spotted instructor Messina on top of a table. "He's alive. Messina is alive! I'll treat his wounds right away!"

Joseph looked around and noticed the hamon bubble floating towards him. "W-What's inside the bubble? It's...It's Caesar's bandana! And wrapped around the bandana... It's a ring! Wamuu's ring! Th-This bubble It's...!!!" He grabbed on the bubble and gasped as it popped in his hands, he felt a sudden power flow into him. "The Hamon energy in this bubble! It... It can't be!! It can't mean that...agh..." Joseph yelled as he fell to his knees. "I haven't yelled out Caesar's name since I set foot in this hotel. That's because I was afraid to... I was afraid that if I yelled out his name, there would be no reply... Just a resounding silence... I didn't want to admit it... That's why I did not yell out for him... I didn't want to believe that Caesar was hit by the divine sandstorm. But now... I understand. With how the Hamon in that bubble felt, I get it. Just a few moments ago, Caesar... Died here." He hold his bandana close to himself. "Caesar you bastard! You really were a smug jerk untill the end, you know?! Leaving a gift like this behind for me! CAESAAAAR! Where are you?! Where are you buried under here?! I'll find you-- I'll get you out!" Joseph desperately searched for him.

"JoJo, I won't let you mourn or look for him." She said as she held a cigarette in her hand. "JoJo, now they have two... And we are two. It's two-on-two! Looking at the blood trail, it seems that Caesar caused quite a bit of damage on Wamuu. We've already entered enemy territory, so let's finish this battle." She finished saying as she set her lighter on her cigarette. "JoJo, get ready... Once you drink that antidote, let us follow them farther into the building." She added turing her back to him.

'She's not even going to shed a single tear for Caesar...?! Up untill now, I would of jumped someone, even a woman, for saying something like that...' "Master Lisa Lisa. Your cigarette's the wrong way." Joseph spoke keeping his gaze looking for Caesar.

She switched it to the right way while trembling trying to keep her usual nonchalant demeanor.

'Lisa Lisa is the teacher... I suppose she's trying to keep me focused on the task at hand. She's acting cold on purpose. She has to want to try to want to cry and scream even more than I do. Caesar cared for her dearly like a mother, and she kbew him for much longer than I did... She wants to keep it together... And this is enemy territory... So I will! Caesar-- you always called me selfish and inconsiderate of other's people's feelings, but look at me now. Maybe I've grown up a bit...? "I've got that heart of yours right here with me! But I will show no mercy to them!"  JoJo declared confidently.

Joseph and Lisa Lisa paused and noticed blood leaking from under the holy cross stone.

"Th-That's blood... Th-There's blood flowing out from under that rock... S... So Caesar.. He's under that rock then...? Caesar... He's... He's there..." JoJo trembled frozen in place.

Lisa Lisa gasped in horror as she fell to her knees sobbing.

"CAESAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!!!"
