♡Five Years Later♡
''No fair!" My four year old had folded her arms, and poked her lips out in a pout. I kneel in front of her.
''Honey, we'll be back in two hours. '' I assured, kissing her cheek. ''Hurry, go get her a cookie!" I softly command, as my adorable five year old son Avery, runs off into the house of his god mother's.
''But, I want bike.'' Aiken says, pointing to a smiling Terry, awaiting me on his motorcycle.
''I know, I know, but you're just not old enough.'' Her head falls, as she turns away from me. ''Aiken baby, I promise to get you a bike when you're old enough, okay?''
''Okayyy." She drags.
''Can I have a hug?" I ask, opening my arms. She lifts her head with a smile, and wraps her arms around my neck. ''Mmmmm. Thank you. Now, how about a cookie!"
''Yayyy!'' She screams, just as Avery returns with two chocolate chip cookies.
''Great job, my good boy." I congratulate, fuzzing his almond curly hair. "Kisses?" I ask, just as Avery and Aiken planted a kiss on each side of my cheek.
''Hugs?" Terry asked, towering over us all. We hugged our kids for a minute longer, before leaving them in the hands of Audri.

''For being my crutch, and saving me. I have to thank you for giving me your beautiful kids.'' I exhale. ''There's so much I could thank you for, I thank you for everything.'' Leaning his head far enough, he planted a kiss on my lips. As the light flickered green, we jetted off down the road.
''And to think, I thought you were bluffing.'' I whispered, though he couldn't possibly hear me over the loud wisping winds or roar of the engine.
''No. I'm not a bluff.'' He yelled, miraculously responding to my whisper.
Indeed, you aren't.
