[BROADWAY]

The backstage, Stuffed with a mess of a crowd.

People running around in a hurry, Like ants.

Actors, In front of mirrors, Applying their need of makeup, All of them, Rushing.

Tidying their outfits, As the rest of the crew rushed all over the place.

Checking.

Soundboard, Lights, Props, Curtains, Gears.

We then see Tara, All dressed up, In front of the mirror, Ready to shine as our Wendy.

A guy then approaches from behind the curtains.

Dunn, All set to fly away as the magical Peter Pan.

DUNN
"Hey, How's it goin? You ready?"

TARA
"Sorta nervous actually..."

DUNN
"Yeah...Same."

Tara's struggling with her outfit.

DUNN
"Somethin wrong with the dress?"

TARA
"No...Well, Yeah, The corset's a bit too tight."

DUNN
"Then just loosen it up?"

TARA
"Can't, If i do, The dress won't fit."

DUNN
"Won't fit? Have you, Maybe...Y'know, Skipped your diet? Hmm? Maybe gulped on plates of wheat cakes? Hmm?"

She scoffed.

TARA
"Very funny, Dun...And no, I've not skipped my diet, Thanks."

DUNN
"Hmm...Not even for a day?"

She stared back at him with a straight face.

DUNN
"Alright, Alright..."

DUNN
"By the way, My suit just slipped right onto me, Perfect fit, Not too big, Not too small...It's like i was made for the role.
I mean i'm sure there are better Peters out there but like, I'm the guy for this particular interpretation, Y'know?"

TARA
"Eh...I see you more as Smee."

Both of them chuckled.

DUNN
"Ah, My head hurts so goddamn much. It's like some some nut strapped a shit ton of rubber bands all around my head. Feels like it's gonna pop any second now."

TARA
"Pretty sure i brought your Advil, I think it's in my jacket."

Dunn then looked through her jacket and took a pill.

Gulped it down with a glass of water.

DUNN
"Hmm...Back to talking about wheat cakes, When WAS the last time we had em?"

TARA
"Dunno, Uh...Didn't we gulped down like 5 plates back at my house? Roughly...Six months ago?

DUNN
"That long? Wow, I miss your ma's wheat cakes. They're so goddamn good."
