chapter-3: Attention seekers

"Zhan, Zhan" Mr. Kim came running.

"What happened Mr. Kim, why are you looking frightened?" Zhan was worried looking at his senior all huffing and puffing all the way. Something was definitely wrong.

"Ms. Kang is fired"

"What?? " Zhan blinked, then he scratched his nape,  "Why?"

Mr Kim breathlessly said, "She greeted him & was fired." He managed to say huffing, struggling to feel his chest with air.

"I didn't get it, Sir," Zhan asked politely. Everything his senior said we're 'Bouncer'. Which went above his head.

His always charismatic senior gulped down a bottle of water in a breath,  "Now Mr. Wu sent me a message that the new boss was on the first floor while Ms. Kang greeted him, and after that he immediately fired her. And the reason is something weird.. from the kids point of view."

"And what is that?"Ji Li asked.

Mr. Kim kept talking to Zhan, ignoring him.

"He said 'you are paid for working here, not for wasting time on greetings." 

"Now it's on you Zhan, please make them understand. " He squeezed his shoulders quickly, before slipping away, "Bye I'm going"

"Wait, Sir, make it clear" Yacht was baffled.

"Ask Zhan," he waved while leaving.

"Zhan ge..."

"Guys listen carefully."  Zhan stated, standing up,  "The new boss may be right in his point of view. He fired Ms. Kang because he thought Ms. Kang was wasting the company's time."

''She was just greeting him." One of the interns could not hold it anymore. This was the limit of being an asshole just because he owns the company.

"I know Baek Kyung. For him each second costs millions. Moreover, Ms. Kang was not expected to greet anyone. She was an intern in the illustration department." The younger ones were revolting as usual, and Zhan was afraid, if not handled carefully they too are going to face the same fate as Ms Kang,  "The company has  receptionists and secretaries for greeting the boss & his guests."

" So all of you please just focus on your respective work.  And if the boss comes here, don't bother to greet him." Zhan sat on his place, asking loudly, "All clear guys"

"Yes Sir" they replied in unison.

Although they said that to be good in front of Zhan, no one actually could easily digest the fact that there was a psycho roaming in their office, firing people as if they were firecrackers.
"That's really unreasonable, how can he do that?" Yacht was frustrated.

"Maintain silence," Zhan stated.

"Sorry"

Now they started talking under their breath.

"He is definitely a gold medalist from THE WEIRDO UNIVERSITY" Hwiyoung was sure of his theory on their new boss. Definitely to his liking. (As expected from this psychopath, who covers each mistake with another mistake. Of Course he's gonna love someone just like him.)
