Zhan's POV
We are on our way to the office. But my mind is travelling back to last evening.
'No I have to put this thought aside and focus on my work, everything will be alright'
The Eclipse is cheerful as usual or maybe more than usual.
"By the way, how the new boss looks?" JiLi asked.
"More like a Greek god" Pond replied winking.
"But I'm sure not handsome enough to compete my Zhan ge" Manaow proudly declared.
"That's the universal truth" hwiyoung confirmed with a bright smile.
Seriously these kids they never get tired praising me. Such sweet talkers they are.
We entered the lift to reach our floor. Mr. Kim was waiting for us already in our work place.
"Good morning sir" we greeted him.
"Very good morning" "Where were all of you last evening I couldn't find you?"
"There was an emergency so we had to leave" Li stated.
"Ok" "guys we have to shift to the top floor for some days"
"Why?"
"We are getting a renovation here that's why" " Just pack your stuffs, everything else is arranged"
"Sure sir" we started packing.
The top floor is really worthy to have the CEO's office. It's spacious and the interior is.. breathtaking; just like our cafe. 'oh no I'm thinking again' So, everything was ready, hence we resumed our work immediately.
"Kids behave properly, the boss is already in his office" Mr.Kim informed.
"This early!!!"Manaow was surprised.
"He is the chairman cum CEO, it's obvious he will be early" "Zhan please take care hmm?"
I nodded with a smile. Without much thinking I buried myself in the work. But why I am getting this feeling that I'm being watched. I looked around but everything seems all right. I shake off the thought and kept working.
The lunch hour passed happily with the kids bickering and snatching each other's food. I didn't even get the time to feel worried about the cafe, I believe them if they are with me everything will be alright.
It's already 5, time to go home. I just hope uncle is alright. We have promised him to not meddle in the case but I can't resist to know the progress.
"Ge let's go"
"Okay"
We started leaving. When I was on my way to the elevator I saw a girl waving at me.
"Xiao Zhan"
"Hello miss Yang, what are you doing in this floor? Do you need anything."
" Can you please help me?"
"Yeah sure"
Miss Yang is our creative director's assistant. She is a very sweet lady.
"Can you please give this file to the CEO, I'm in a hurry Zhan. The CEO's secretary is not here please.. please"
"Ok Miss Yang, I will do that no need to say please" I said with a smile.
"Thank you Zhan, you are an angel" she smiled brightly at me before leaving.
"Ge"
"No need to look at me like this" I smiled at Manaow "Wait for me out side, I will be back in 5 minutes"
