Maihua POV I got up extra early today excited that today is the first game of my sophomore year of college and I can finally talk to y/n again. I packed up all my things and headed to acting class until I got a tap on my shoulder. "Hey babe we can't wait to see you play today we all got our tickets and I got a jersey made for me personally."

I stood there in shock seeing the shirt. "Um where did you get that that looks like nothing from the school store" I said while holding the shirt and observing it. "I had it custom made for me and ME only now give in back I can't get it dirty because I have to look good at the game tonight." She snatched the shirt away for me and then she walked away and she didn't even say goodbye. "Hey Maihua! Are you ready for the game tonight I can't wait to see you play" y/n said while hugging me from behind. I didn't really realize who it was because I thought it was one of those girls again. I turned towards her and looked around to make sure no one was looking and I picked her up. She wrapped her hands around my neck and wrapped her leg around my waist. "Hi princess how have you been lately?" I said to her while looking in those beautiful eyes. I'm good bubs. "I am excited to see the first football game I've never really been to games like this before so I'm scared." After she told me that she took out a small piece of paper and I put her down and read it. It said: Good luck today. And it also had a little button on it that I could pin to my shirt or jersey and it had my number and a heart beside it. "Im sorry it's not special like Veronica, well that is your girlfriend so of course hers would be better but I tried" she said looking down. "Hey look at me that's the best thing anyone could have ever done for me I can tell you put a lot of effort into and that is all that matters to me" I said holding her chin up. We both said our goodbyes and I started to walk the other way until y/n turned me around and kissed me. Her lips were so soft I wanted to kiss her forever but she pulled away,smiled and made her way to class. I looked at the pin and put it on my jersey I was going to wear and I walked to class. Skip to game Guys it's time to show what we practiced for. It's time to show what you are fighting for. There are over 1,000 people out there ready to see you play and win so go and give it your best. That's the coach speech he gave ever time a game was about to start and I started thinking of y/n. We ran out to the field but I went last. Before I went out I made sure my pin was on then I ran out the tunnel. Everyone started cheering and chanting my name. I looked around and I saw Veronica and her crew waving and recording. I waved and started to look for y/n who was behind me taking pictures. I turned around and blew her a kiss and she blew one back then I ran to the field to start. Skip 1st quarter With the 1st quarter done me and the boys were leading 17-14 but we couldn't let them be this close to us. "Hey babe over here" I heard from Veronica. "Aw Maihua your girlfriend is talking to you" Patrick said while looking at me while I tried to hide and finally I decided to turn around. I waved back and everyone in the stances freaked out even the gay boys which made me laugh. Skip to halftime Well it's half time and we are losing 36-42! I was starting to lose it because I had to deal with the game and Veronica and the girls. I wanted y/n she was my peace and I needed peace. As I had that thought there she was y/n sitting besides me. "Hi bub you doing you seem kinda of stressed?" She said while rubbing my back. I'm am I'm trying hard to pay attention but I can't. I want to win but I'm so tired and distracted by them" I said pointing towards Veronica and her friends who were screaming for y/n to get away. "Maihua listen I know your better then this now. You got this focus on the game and the you can focus on your girl. I know she is the most important person in you life but it's time to focus on the game you worked hard for" she said. After she said that I looked up at her and those eyes, those perfect eyes were staring at me. "Ok princess I'll do this for you." I said while standing up. "You got this my little knight" she said and I went back on the field. Skip to the 4th quarter It was 4th quarter but we were still losing 42-47. We needed one touchdown. To win the whole thing. Maihua you have to run the ball at the 15 yard line this is for the game Maihua can you do it" my coach asked. I looked behind him and saw y/n mouth you got this and took a picture. Ready set hut! I ran up and grabbed the ball and thought of how much I went through and how much I wanted to make everyone and especially y/n proud. I ran the ball and broke tackle and...

Touchdown!! I opened my eyes and there I was in the end zone. I stood up to everyone from the team,staff, and even the students ran to me. I was surrounded by cheering students and flashing lights. Everyone was trying to ask me questions but I ignored them and I was looking for y/n. I ran past crowds of students cameras and even Victoria and her girls until I saw y/n staring at me and she opened her arms and I ran straight to her. Everyone came over and surrounded the both of us we were hugging and celebrating as well. After about five seconds of that I looked at her and those beautiful eyes and we kissed each other right in front of everyone. Everyone took pictures pulled out their phones and started recording but we didn't care we were living in the moment. Everyone on the team was cheering for me and Y/n and swarmed us. We both laughed and then the crowd started to die down so we went back into the school and I was happier than I ever felt with Veronica. Happier than I have ever been in my entire life
