Complicated

Arcade day Part 2:

Felix and Marinette both walked to a claw machine and Alya went to find the others leaving Felix and Marinette alone.

Marinette's eyes were drawn to a small hamster plushie in a machine and she threw her hands onto the glass surrounding it along with her face which was being squished by the glass.

Felix moved to the side of the machine to see her squished face and burst out into laughter grabbing his stomach after laughing so much.

Marinette: "whaaaatttt! It's not that funny!"

Felix: "it is though! Look at mine when I do that and tell me it's not funny."

Felix copied Marinette after she let go of the machine waiting for Felix to try and be funny. He pressed the side of his face against the glass squishing it.

Marinette tried to hold back her laughter by covering her mouth with her hand but bent down and laughter escaped her mouth and into the atmosphere where Felix could hear her laugh.

He took his face off the glass and leaned against it watching Marinette as she continued to laugh. A smile crept onto his face and a pink tint took over his cheeks. Wow, this girl is something.

He walked over to the raven haired girl and grabbed her hand making her stop laughing instantly. She looked up to his face to meet eyes with him. She was drawn into his mesmerising eyes and just stared.

Felix: "hey Mari~"

Marinette: "s-sorry!" She instantly looked away from his eyes and back to the machine.

Felix: "wait, you have something on your cheek." He lifted his hand up that he had on hers and rubbed it across her cheek taking off a loose eyelash from her cheek. Marinette couldn't help but stare into his eyes again, they seemed so caring and kind.

He tightened his grip around her hand making both of them go red and he pulled her as he turned around to face the machine.

Marinette took her hand back as she opened her purse to get money out, once she did, she looked to see Felix was already putting money in.

Marinette: "let me pay!"

Felix only shook his head and looked at her reflection in the glass giving her a serious look. She accepted his generosity and walked closer to the glass watching him go for the hamster.

After a good couple of tries, the grabber picked up the hamster and Marinette clutched her fists together holding one fist in her other hand hoping that this is their win.

Felix's eyes watched the hamster as it made it to the dropper and was dropped into the win box. Marinette jumped up and down screeching with excitement. Felix reached into the box and pulled out the small hamster plush.

Marinette went to grab it but he lifted it up into the air making her unable to reach it. She jumped and jumped to get it. "Felix, seriously?"

Felix: "gimme a kiss on the cheek and maybe I'll give it to you." He pointed his free finger to his cheek and Marinette hesitated before giving him a peck on his cheek and when she did that, Felix lost focus and lowered his arm giving her the perfect opportunity.
She jumped up and snatched the hamster squeezing it tightly to her chest.

Marinette: "thank you Felix! Let me pay you back."

Felix: "it's fine, the payment you had to give me was already given to me."

Marinette gave him a sweet and content smile, it brightened up his whole day. Seeing her happy, remembering that she forgave him and hoping that she feels the same way he does.

"Let's go find the others." Felix spoke with softness which made Marinette so comfortable. She nodded in response and held her pulse tightly to her chest as they walked towards the others.

Nino: "hey dudes! Woahh, nice win Mari."

Marinette: "Actually, Felix won this for me!"

Alya, Nino and Adrien looked at Felix in shock and Adrien grabbed Felix's arm and pulled him aside from the others.

Adrien: "so Felix, what's with you and Mari?"

Felix: "oh, finally falling for her are we?"

Adrien stood with confusion and hesitated in his words. "W-what! No! I'm just looking out for Marinette. I just hope that you are keeping your word and won't break her heart."

Adrien stood with crossed arms and raised a brow at Felix. He kept his face straight with full seriousness,

Felix: "are you serious cousin, i actually like this girl I will do anything to make her happy." Felix leaned on the wall with crossed arms trying not to make eye contact with his cousin. "Why do you want to know anyway? You like her or something?"

Adrien: "NO! Like I said, Marinette's always been there for me and looked out for me. I just don't want to see her hurt again."

Adrien hung her head down to the floor. Memories of seeing the girl cry plenty of times and comforting her as both Chat and Adrien really broke him. He hated seeing his friends sad.

Felix out his hand on Adrien's shoulder and the blonde lifted his head back up to meet with a smiley Felix.

Felix: "come on, I'm being serious now. I have changed Adrien and you know that. I've proved it to you all the past while since college started. And I genuinely like this girl. Like she's so beautiful, kind, generous, feisty at times and OH MY GOD SHES TALENTED." Felix leant back onto the wall and fell into a blabber of a description of the girl he's falling for.

Adrien smiled and saw the redness taking over his cousins cheeks along with a big happy smile, which was rarely seen on Felix. It was only ever seen when he was around Marinette. She made him so happy and it makes him confident enough to be himself around her.

Adrien: "you really like Mari, you're so red!" A small giggled escaped the mouth of the tall blonde and Felix instantly turned away trying to hide it.

Felix: "soo, you can see that I like someone but couldn't see it when she liked you?"

Adrien: "what do you mean?!"

Felix: "did you not know? Marinette loved you in high school."
