Rosie sat at the Hufflepuff table as she ate her breakfast, she couldn't see her friends at their normal place at the Gryffindor table, so for once she sat at her own house table, the fact she rarely sat there hadn't helped her reputation with her own house, but it wasn't like Cedric had told them to leave her be or anything. Christmas was coming around the corner, and Rosie wasn't looking forward to it.
"Diggory!" A voice yelled, Rosie not looking up, it was going to be one of Cedric's friends. "Not you, the more important one." The same voice shouted, Rosie furrowed her brows and looked up to see Lee Jordan currently narrowing his eyes at Cedric and his friends, the Hufflepuff table sat in shock.
Fred and George came walking into the Great Hall, spotting Rosie at the bottom of the table. "Cedric is w-" One of Cedric's friend's tried to argue.
Fred rolled his eyes, turning to the boy who was standing up. "We all stopped listening as soon as you opened your mouth." George laughed at Fred's comment, high fiving in agreement.
The three boys left Rosie's second year bother and friends in a state of shock. "Rosie Diggory, how excited are you for Christmas?" George asked her as they sat down in front of her.
Rosie shrugged. "Not really." She went in for another spoonful of cereal.
Fred and George looked at each other and let out a laugh, not believing her, Lee on the other hand looked as though he had choked on his own air. "Sorry, can you repeat that?" Fred asked.
"Not really." Rosie repeated quietly, it was quite unusual for a child to not enjoy Christmas, but she had her reasons.
"WHY?!" Lee exclaimed, smacking his hands down on the table as he stood up, causing a lot of students to look at him.
"Calm down for a second Lee." Fred tugged at his friend's sleeve for him to sit back down. "Sorry if a family member died on Ch-"
"No, nothing like that." Rosie smiled at his concern. "It's just...not for me."
"What are you doing for Christmas?" George asked her sharply, like he was interrogating her. "Then we can break down why she's the worst person on earth." He whispered to Fred.
Rosie shrugged. "I'm not sure yet." She wasn't sure whether or not Cedric would be going back home or not, but quite frankly she wanted to do the opposite to him.
"You aren't going back home?" George raised a brow.
"I heard Cedric is." Lee jumped in, he was overhearing what the Hufflepuff's were talking about, and of course they were probably wondering what Cedric was doing.
