Rosie slowly walked away from the Hospital Wing, the sick feeling in her stomach getting worse with every step she took. She had never been so nervous about something in her life, she was going to completely humiliate herself in front of everyone. Unless she skipped the class altogether? But her friends would ask her why she skipped, and they'd eventually find out. She made it to the staircase, starting to step on them when a group of boys pushed past her, almost sending her over the edge of the staircase. Rosie could see everything go dizzy as she looked over the edge of the staircase, before someone pulled her back. "Rosie?"
"Mmhm?" Rosie dozily replied, turning around to see it was Cedric that had helped her. "Oh, uh, hello Cedric."
Cedric awkwardly nodded. "How's everything?" He asked.
"Not good." Rosie honestly answered, she wouldn't be able to lie to Cedric. While they weren't close siblings, they could always tell when something was wrong.
Cedric raised a brow. "How come?"
"I'm just a little nervous about flying." Rosie shrugged, Cedric wouldn't be able to believe she was scared of heights.
"I was too, but it's actually really easy." Cedric tried to reassure her, but it didn't help, he was a natural on the broom.
"That's easy for you to say." Rosie huffed. "I've never even gotten on a broom before." She sighed, starting to walk away from Cedric, but he slowly followed. "Fred and George already know what they're doing to top it off."
"I don't blame them, their brother Charlie is captain of the Gryffindor quidditch team." Cedric explained, the Weasley's must have been great at quidditch then, this only made her more anxious. "Must run in the family."
Rosie shrugged. "Must do."
"You'll be fine Rosie." Cedric nodded, he was going to say more, but his friends came back from around the corner, glaring at Rosie as they jerked their head to the direction they ran to. Cedric smiled at them, before turning back to Rosie who wasn't pleased at all, she knew exactly what he was going to do. "Uhh, listen I have to go, you know where you're going from here right?"
"Yeah, I know." Rosie snapped, starting to head off.
"Great, see you later." Cedric called after her, she could hear that he started to run and laugh with his friends.
"Bye." Rosie muttered, sighing as she looked at the ground as she walked, why did everyone hate her so much? And why was Cedric so blind not to see it?
She continued to head through the castle until she noticed two familiar red head's were waiting for her. "There you are!" Fred smiled when he saw her.
"I almost died of boredom waiting for you." George dramatically huffed, Rosie let out a small laugh.
"Sorry guys, I'm just not feeling well." Rosie quietly told them.
