You never know when your heart finds its heart in someone or something else. So unpredictable it is, yet so innocent. We all start with bits of ourselves trying to be a whole. As life goes on throwing its tantrums, we start finding our solace in the shades of dark. Even though it never made any sense to try so hard to be grow-ups, we all tried swallowing our souls just to glow someone or something else. Its funny how we gave up parts of ourselves to fit in among unknowns. Is that what we call the art of giving? But are we allowed to give something even if it leaves a void within us?
I guess the answer is in us too. The world moves in circles and so do we. We start with pieces and end in pieces as well. There's no point of complaining because where did it ever take us? Even the sun sets in paradise, remember?
We are all living through a perpetual existence transiently. We aren't promised forever and infinities. We are just here, trying to fix our bits and feed our hearts.
So the answer to the question regarding the art of giving is,
Yes, when we give a part of our soul to something or someone who actually make our heart feel lighter and arms warmer, selflessly, it is the art of giving. It is an art because we all know that its tough, really tough to pick up our pieces and put them together after someone scattered them, yet we do it with grace.
Well, heart is unpredictable, truly. Sometimes, it begins and ends with the same thing, that is, in pieces. </3-Pahi
