Alluring {Irwin Au}

Prologue

You know, sure, I might have still had to wake up before the sun was even up, and I might not have gotten as much time to sit around all day or hang out with my friends, but it was going to be totally worth it. Tomorrow, when summer vacation officially starts, I begin my summer job at the one and only - Disneyland. I'd never been so excited about anything in my life. I get to spend 5 days a week at the happiest place on Earth, working at the hat store. I mean, maybe it wouldn't be as exciting as working at one of the rides, or as a character, but I get to wear Mickey Mouse ears everyday and customize other people's hats and ears!

I jumped out of bed with more enthusiasm than I've had all school year and throw my hair up in a pony tail, tugging on my roots a little so it looks a bit messy. I grabbed a pair of black jeans from my dresser and hopped into them as I made my way to the bathroom. I washed my face and brushed my teeth and quickly put on a small amount of mascara before practically skipping back to my room to put on my black converse and throw on a t-shirt.

"Riley, you're going to be late if you don't hurry!" My mom shouted from downstairs.

I sighed and ran down into the dining room where my mom was seated with her coffee and book and hugged her tightly. "I'll see you after school, love you." I ran out to my car and drove off for the last day of hell before what I knew was to be the best summer of my life.

What I didn't know is that there would be a special someone who would make it far better than I had imagined.

A/N: Okay, so I know this is super short, but it's just the prologue so oh well. And I know it sucks, but this is my first time writing anything and I'm kind of bad at it. I'm sorry. And I'm not gonna be like "I promise it gets better" because I honestly don't even know if it will or not, oops. But yeah, just bear with me please.
