"No! Don't take him away! Please!"

"Ma'am, please stand still."

"No! You cannot do this to me!" Maria cried out.

"I'm sorry ma'am but this is strictly the government's orders. What is said, must be done. Those are the rules." The government official pulled a small contraption out of his pocket. It was a cylindrical silver tool with a small camera flash in front of it. On top of said contraption was a red button. The government official turned his head to his colleague and nodded, signalling his colleague to take the bundle of blankets to their car.

"At least let him live! He's only just turned two!" Tears were spilling out of Maria's eyes as she eyed the bundle of blankets being brought to the car. Her husband stood next to her, not moving, not even making a sound, giving up at protesting against the government's actions.

"The Government decides what is to become of his life." The government official brought up his hand with the little contraption in it, facing the desperate parents. "Now do me a favour and please look into this camera. All your problems will be resolved with one press of a button," he said with a fake sweet voice, pulling out a pair of sunglasses and putting them on

"What? Why?" William asked, sceptical about said contraption and the man's actions, turned his head to see his wife's reaction. Maria only stared into the camera, desperately hoping that it would somehow give her child back.

"No questions, please. Just look into this camera; simple as that. Thank you, sir. Now, for the sake of tradition, say cheese!" The government official put on a fake smile in hopes of convincing the two individuals in front of him, that it is harmless.

"Cheese," the parents muttered out. With a push of a button, a bright flash shone out through the camera. As fast as it had come, the flash died down, revealing two very confused looking individuals.
