"Todoroki!"
With a bored expression, the dual haired male turned to glance at Izuku. The latter racing towards him in casual apparel.
It was a week before summer kicked out, and times were finally calming down. They'd all taken their exams, passed it— some barely — but they did nonetheless. So with the spare time they now had after classes, when Aizawa wasn't making them train, they'd head out to the mall or park. Somewhere to relax and unwind together before they went back home to their parents.
But today, their favorite teacher had decided to stop torturing them and allow them this one moment to have absolute happiness.
"Hey, Izuku. Are you ready for the field trip tomorrow?" He slowed down his pace, allowing for the green-haired male to catch up easily. They'd gotten on a first names basis months back after they had established something of a friendship with one another. The two were closer than ever and worked amazingly well with each other. Even if they may cause unnecessary destruction, it didn't matter.
"Of course! I'm pretty sure most everyone is going. The only ones I believe aren't going are Momo and Tokoyami."
Shouto simply nodded, heading inside the commons room where a couple of other students resigned.
The field trip wasn't any special, according to Aizawa anyway. They were going to the usual tourist attraction to lay back and reward themselves. It was obviously school funded and All Might may or may not have had a huge influence on the whole thing. But what does that matter?
Besides the background noise coming from the t.v, that played some corny horror movie. The chatter on the upcoming trip sounded around the room. Mostly everyone had packed or been doing last-minute preparations.
It was a great way to end the year, something no one had actually expected. Of course, there would be precautions put out, just in case of a villain attack. And some of the hero's staying behind would be on speed dial just in case.
As the night progressed, one by one the students slipped away to head to their rooms. Wishing each other good night in excited tones. By nine o'clock, only Shouto, Izuku, and Uraraka were left in the commons room, cleaning up any messes left.
The room was swept in comfortable silence.
"Why are you three still down here?"
"Aizawa-Sensei!" Practically leaping out his skin, Izuku quickly turned to face their tired-looking teacher. The other two do the same, their anxious expressions fading upon seeing the teacher.
Clearing his throat, the freckled male stood up straight. "We were, uh, just cleaning up! It was kinda messy.." He trailed off as his teacher narrowed his eyes, "We're done now though!"
"Good. Get some rest. You're gonna need it." Even if their beloved teacher wasn't trying to, the statement still came out like a threat.
"Ah, yes of course! Goodnight!" One by one they rushed past their teacher, or in Shouto's case, casually walked.
Both males said their goodbyes to Uraraka, then to each other as they parted ways to their room.
By morning, Present Mic and Aizawa had managed to round up the remaining students that were going on the trip, into a small-sized travel bus. One other bus was parked behind their own for class 1-B, the other only class going on this trip.
The only one who seemed thoroughly happy about the news was Kirishima, seeing that he'd be able to meet up with Tetsutetsu. An out of all of them, he was probably the only any of the Class 1-a students would talk to. Though they wouldn't have to worry about what for the first few hours of their arrival there at least. As they'd take that time to unpack, relax, and take a look around the city.
