The sound of students roaming the hall let Bakugou know that classes had ended. He shot up straight and made himself look as normal as ever. If he was going to leave this place, fine. He'd find a different way to achieve his goal. He didn't need this dumb, stupid, wonderful chance to get to the top.

He marched his way out of the bathroom, pushing past passing students to make his way back to the office. Some of the scholars gave him passing glances, ones he recognized from earlier years.

Cautiousness.

His brows narrowed and he continued to make his way to the office. But of course, there was always something.

"Kacchan!"

The voice made Bakugou's stomach turn inside out. Of course, out of all people, he'd run into it's this bastard.

The green-haired male quickly jogged up to him, his brows knit in confusion.

"You weren't in class this morning, what happened? Are you okay? Aizawa-Sensei said something about you seeing All Might. Is it because-"

"Do you ever shut up?!" The blonde interrupted Midoryia's stream of mumbling, lips upturned into a sneer, "Christ, I'm fine! It's fine! Everything is fine! Now go!" Even with his words, Bakugou didn't even give Midoryia a chance to follow his orders as he roughly shrugged past him. He shoved his hands into his pockets and kept his gaze downwards, trying to ignore the small whispers of the students around him.

He could hear Midoryia yelling after him, and it only made him quicken his pace till both he and the other boy were full-on sprinting down the hall.

Why couldn't this bastard leave him the hell alone? Its like history wants to repeat himself. Every. Time.

The halls thinned out more and more, to a point where he found him and Midoyira alone. The boy was already close up behind him.

With one steady motion, he turned and grabbed the other wrist and slung him forward, causing him to crash into the lockers.

"Stop following me,  Deku !" Bakugou gazed furiously at the younger male, the familiar popping of sparks filling the quiet hall.

Wincing, Midoriya got up, rubbing his back as bright green eyes locked with deep red one. "Kacchan I'm jus-"

"Just what?! Trying to help me? I don't need your help! I never needed your help! Nor will I ever need it! You hear me?!"

Midoriya paused as for a second the familiar timorous Deku, Bakugou had found himself growing up with, seemed to appear. But only for a second.

The boys' brows furrowed as he stood up straight. "I never said you did. But it shows."

Bakugou laughed, a small explosion protruded from his hand. "You'd like to believe that, huh? That you can read me just like an open book? That you know everything about me, just because you took a couple of stupid notes?" Straightening himself out the blonde glared at Midoryia. "You don't know shit about me. You never will know shit about me, and I'd like to keep it that way."

"Why? Tell me Kacchan, what did I do to you to make you see me as such a threat?"

Scoffing, Bakugou crossed his arms, "Don't flatter yourself. Everyone in this school is a damn threat. Not just to me, but to each other."

"No ones a threat to anyone, Kacchan! We're all trying to be heroes! We  help  each other!"

Over the yelling, the sound of footsteps running towards them got louder and closer.

Behind Bakugou, Midyoiria spotted All Might and Bakugou's parents round the corner. Then Aizawa-Sensei shortly after.

"Young Midoryia! Young Bakugou!"
