Chapter 6

I just keep on walking in every corner of this school. Not really. I'm only walking in circles in the building where my teacher is on. I don't know, but I have this feeling to wait for her to get home safely.

I heard her mumbled to herself that she would stay late to decorate her new classroom. I wanted to help her, but I don't want to look like a creep so I stayed outside. Like a loyal guard to her majesty even though it is still creepy, but at least she couldn't see me.

The screeching of wooden door on the floor made me snap out of my trance, as I looked at her from afar. Standing in the dark part of the school. My senses heightened as I listened to her calm heartbeat as she hum in the music that's blaring through her air pods that she successfully hides through her dirty blonde hair.

My eyes adjust more as I let myself get lost through her beauty even in the middle of the night. It's seven in the night as she walked through the lights of the hallway. I'm such a creep,but I can't help it, I need to make sure she's safe. I have it in my guts that even maybe I'm still not sure if she's my mate, I need to protect her at all cost, even if I feel like a complete creep.

She finally got to her car and drove away with me following behind.

Teleporting everywhere while keeping my eyes on her blue car was really an easy pissy. She was still humming and her fingers was lighty druming against the steering wheel.

When she finally stop. I looked at the very looking homey house that has a cute little garden at the side. A white house that looks so modern, but still give you a retro feelings because of the windows and doors that looks like it's been a decade since it was replaced.

She got out of her car and walks towards her house. When Ms. Perez safely and successfully entered her house, I quickly did my chant around her house to protect her from any super natural that's lurking in this world, that could cause her any danger. I don't know why I just did that, but nevermind

When I heard her finally sleeping peacefully I teleported back straight to my room.

It's already late so I know no one will bother to look nor ask for my well being.

As I laid in bed I think about how long my day is.

First day of school huh? A small smile made it's way to my lips as I think about the scenes of the day.

My birthday is on September sixteenth. The day I would leave this place.

Some of you might be wondering why I didn't leave this place. I don't want to. I was really skinny back then, so small. I will always have bruises in every part of my body, my childhood memories was awful, but I stayed. I wasn't aware of myself because I was still thirteen that time.

Some bullies even knocked out my front tooth when I was still 9. I became the clown of all. They would laugh in my face every time I walk past them. The shoving of face in the lockers, tripping my foot so I would fall in my face, they made me locked every emotions I know. I don't even smile back then, you already the reason.

I stayed here. I don't have a choice but to stay. I don't know anything back then. I go to school and go home. That was my life when under I'm thirteen.

When my birthday came. I was in the middle of nowhere. Exactly midnight when I feel every wounds I have healed. I freaked out. So I immediately walk back and go straight to my room.

When the sun arrived, there was a box outside of the foster care home. It's was for me. Mrs. Saddy try to look at it, but the 'ONLY FOR LOVE KIERAN HARPY' sign in the box made her stop and give it to me.

It contains letters and a blood bag, that's when I found myself getting incredulously thirsty at the sight like my life depends on it. So I drink it.

It was really satisfying.

I read the letter and the first sentence of the letter was 'just stay in here no matter what' me being shook was understatement. I was actually planning on leaving that day, but I listened to this strange letter.

I read more and I realized what this person was trying to do, it was for my own safety, I don't know, but I obeyed and stayed.

I was pulled out of my thoughts when Mrs. Saddy knocked. In this late night she's still awake.

I say a small come in and then she walk towards the end of the bed and sit down, saying a good evening silently. The familiarity of the scent of the strangers letter invaded my nostrils as Mrs. Saddy hand them out. Yes them. It's three envelopes this time.

It's been sending nonstop since August came. I have an idea though. My eighteenth birthday is coming. A week and sixteen days to go and I'll be eighteen. It feels surreal.

I take the envelopes and Mrs. Saddy slowly stands up and left. Her death will arrive soon. I thought.

I opened it one by one and quickly read it again and again, until it sunk in my mind. It contains a property letter, I couldn't believe it this person.

I read the letter silently.

Dear Keiran,

As your 18th birthday coming so fast, I need you to be prepared.

I know you have a lot of questions about your mate? Yes! Your mate. If you feel the emotions, desires and the need to protect her, I can assure you that she's your mate, little vampire. Be happy for you have found her even though your still not in the right age.

We're special. I guess every question you have should be answered, don't worry little one, just wait and everything will be settled down.

Remember every training you have from martial arts, I know you can defend yourself perfectly, for you also have an amazing super powers.

When your birthday come, you shall leave that place. Don't leave any trace of your disappearance, ready yourself to meet me.

I can'tbelieve this! but I know I should, I will follow this stranger cause I have a feeling something big is coming. I just knew it.

I still can't embrace the thought that my teacher was really my mate!

My teacher is my mate!!!

I can't wait to spend my time with her and I can't wait to finally meet my guide.
