Chapter 4-Decorating the Truth

Dalton's POV

"Hey Dalton, who was that?" a groggy Cole asked me as I walked into my room.

"It was Caprice, hey dude, be honest, are you falling for her?" I asked. He scratched the back of his neck and sighed. " I don't know dude. But why was she crying while singing Red?"

"Oh, no reason." I lied. I hate lying to Cole but I don't think that Cap would want Cole knowing about HIM, well, at least not yet.

"Night Cole!" I said as I jumped into bed and turned the lights off. The only response I get from Cole is snoring.

In the Morning

Capri's POV

"Capri! Wake up! We're gonna decorate the house today!" Megan said as she jumped on my bed. I jumped out of bed and said to Megan," Okay, now get outta my room so I can change!"

I put on an Adventure Time tshirt, my black snowman sweater, black skinny jeans and black converse. I brushed my dark brown hair and put a gray beanie on. "Hey mom!" I yelled from my room.

"What?"

"can I ask the guys and Sabbi to help us?"

"Sure sweetheart! But hurry! We're kinda late decorating our house!" My mom yelled from her room. I chuckled because every year we're always the last to decorate our house. It's always been like that, even in Texas. Dalton and his family would always come and help though. I asked Sabbi and texted her the address. She said she'd be over in ten. I looked at the clock, 10:30. Yay! I get to bother Dalton! He never gets up before 11:30.

  Dalton's POV

RING RING

I groaned and looked at my clock, 10:30 AM. I picked my phone up. It was Cap.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"Well good morning to you too Mr. Sunshine," Cap said sarcastically.

" You know I hate mornings," I grumbled.

" Well.... I was going to invite you to come over to my house to help me decorate for Christmas but nevermind," She said. My eyes widened.

"I'M SORRY! But I should've figured you guys weren't decorated for Christmas yet, hahahaha," I chuckled.

"Hahaha, those good old days," She laughed.

" But I thought we had to work today," I said.

" Guess who got you, Sabbi, and the guys the the day off?" she giggled.

"Um, 1st of all it's you, Sabbi, the guys and I, and second of all SANTA CLAUS?!" I yelled into the phone. "Dude! trying to sleep ya know!" a sleepy (and might I add grumpy) Cole groaned.

"Sorry Cole!" I said.

"You butt, so anyways Sabbi's coming over too, so invite the rest of the guys," she said.

"okay then,, I'll let the other guys know-"

"Know what?" Cole asked. "Do you wanna help Capri and her family, and Sabbi decorate her house for Christmas today?" I told Cole. "Sure," He said as he got up. 

"Hey Cap, can I invite my friend Maddi too? She loves to decorate for Christmas," I said.

 "Sure, I'll tell my- MEGAN BE CAREFUL! CRAP! Bye Dalt, gotta go, text me who's coming!" Capri said very fast before she hung up. I laughed. Cap and her family are kinda clumsy sometimes. I texted the rest of the guys and Maddi and they all could come. I changed into black skinny jeans, my Green Day Tshirt, and black converse.Hmm, maybe I should ask Sophie if she wants to help.
