I tried to keep up with Morgan as we both walked down the street, bumping into many people, and trying to talk to one another over all the sounds of New York.

The streets seemed to be hectic at any time of the day, and it was so noisy. It was definitely polar opposite of Colorado. Although the weather was as cold as the springs, the atmosphere was very different. I loved it.

Morgan and I were on our way to her office where she was to meet with her client who was also her best friend. Even though it was New Years day, Morgan was constantly on the move, making plans, calling people, and organizing things. She felt bad for working while I visited and hated to leave me back at her apartment alone, so I was invited to join her on her meeting. I had no complaints, I didn't exactly want to be in an apartment on my own, so I went along with her. Aside from that, I really wanted to spend time with my cousin. So I was willing to do what I had to, to be near her.

Morgan is a wedding planner. She's one of the biggest names in New York. Having worked with countless celebrities, and in the most beautiful places around the city. My cousin was the rock stars of wedding planners.

Being as I would be in town with her for the wedding, I was formally invited to her best friends wedding to experience the ultimate wedding she would be planning. I would be meeting the Bride and Groom shortly, not to mention I'd be following both her, the bride, and the groom around the following few weeks to see what it took to be a wedding planner. This was a whole new world to me, and I was happy to see what went on for wedding planning. I was excited!

When we finally got to the building that her office was at, we quickly went up stairs as Morgan kept telling me short stories having to do with her best friend, Ellie. I was nervous, but thrilled to meet Morgan's best friend. I had only heard good things about the bride-to-be, and hearing how sweet and genuine she was made me feel good.

"Morgan! Happy New Years!" As Morgan and I walked into her office, Ellie was already there with open arms and a warm smile.

"Happy New Years, babe!" They both hugged one another, and then Morgan introduced me and Ellie to one another.

Ellie immediately hugged me. "I've heard so much about you! You're so much more beautiful than Morgan explained you to be!" I blushed at that, and thanked her. She was really friendly thus far.

"I've heard many good things about you," I responded. "And congratulations!" Ellies face lit up like a Christmas tree, and I couldn't help but to smile along with her.

"Speaking of, where is your hubby?" Morgan asks while she takes off her coat. I do the same, and barely realize that the groom isn't around.

"He'll be here soon. He's with the boys. He said he was only a few minutes away, but you know with Louis, a few minutes could end up being a few days," Morgan nods and heads to her desk. She has pictures of us, of her and her boyfriend, and of other friends, and I smile knowing I made it to her desk.

"You're going to love Louis," states Morgan. I look at her and give her a smile.

I had never met these people before, but Morgan only surrounded herself around good people. So I was sure that if she said I'd love them, I would surely love them.

"He's kind of a strange one," Ellie giggles. "But Morgan said you'll be a part of the whole wedding? So we'll be seeing you often, I hope?"

I nod my head.

"How long are you in town?" Ellie asks.

"For a month," I answer with a smile.

"Oh, that's awesome! That will give us plenty of time to get to know one another,"
"Yeah, definitely." I agree with a smile.

"Sorry, the cab ride here was absolute shit!" All three of us girls turn around to a man's voice, and Morgan smiles and then stands to walk up to her boyfriend, Alex.

"I thought you'd never show up!" Morgan gives Alex a brief kiss, and then looks behind him. "Where's Louis?"

"He had to go to the restroom before coming in," Morgan nods her head, and I realize that a bathroom break is due.

"Speaking of bathrooms, where is it?" I ask. Morgan tells me it's down the hall, so I rush to go.

After I've done my business, I wash my hands, check my reflection, fix my hair, and head back to Morgan's office. When I enter, I hear chattering.

"Oh, here she is!" I hear Ellie say immediately upon my return. I look around the room and spot who I assume is Louis. I walk up to him to shake his hand, and he turns around from talking with Alex.

"Riley, this is my fiancé, Louis. Louis, this is Morgan's cousin, Riley." I freeze in my spot, and look at Louis with widened eyes.

He gives me the same look, and I become frantic.

"Riley, you okay? It looks like you've seen a ghost!" Says Morgan. I try and form a sentence.. even a few words, but I can't.

Louis' shocked expression turns to a casual one, and he reaches out to shake my hand. "Hi," he simply says.

I shake his hand, but don't say anything. "Riley, are you okay? You look so pale."

I look at Morgan, and then back to Louis. He doesn't do a thing, but I can tell he's nervous.

"Maybe she needs air?" Suggests Alex.

"Yeah, I just.. I need a little bit of air. I feel dizzy all of a sudden." I apologize. I grab my jacket, and head outside.

What? He's her fiancé? Maybe he just looks similar to the guy I kissed last night. Maybe I'm just over thinking?

But he looked nervous, like he knew me too.

Holy shit. I kissed my cousins best friends fiancé.

And he kissed me back.

Oh my God.

I'm a terrible person!
